A jacket potato seller has been dubbed the new 'Binley Mega Chippy' after becoming a global TikTok sensation attracting visitors from across the world.
Ben Newman - aka Spudman - has seen customers queuing for up to three hours to get their hands on his famous spuds in the quaint market town of Tamworth, Staffs.
People have been flocking from as far as the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia to his humble jacket potato van after his videos took the internet by storm.

Less “small” (fake) businesses is the way to go. This idea that everyone can be their own boss and a self-starter is costing the nation more in bankruptcies than benefits and immigration combined. Jacket potatos are great. Jacket potatos with toppings are great. But man, 3 hrs. for frrshly baked potatos with canned food. Everything he sells, beans, chili, chicken curry etc. is canned.

this isn't anything British. This is a global tiktok generation phenomenon. Someone becomes famous, people will line up just to say they experienced it. Helps that the price is reasonable for today's standards too. And you're right but microwave jackets suck. Oven is better, but the benefit of this is that it's instant Vs your method of having to buy the ingredients, wait for baking, cleaning the mess, all other prep etc.
