You had it all right til you said "the punk movement bred racist skinheads'.. the punk scene had nothing to do with skinheads becoming racist and white power in late 70s -80s. Outside political organisations like the British Movement and National Front recruited young skinheads and brainwashed them into far right politics in the UK. Also Ian Stuart of the wp band Skrewdriver made his own political neo nazi/wp record label and political group ,Blood & Honour in England around 1985,after he left the National Front. Skinheads becoming politically extreme was nothing to do with punk scene. Some wp skins turned up to punk gigs from UK to USA for sure in 80s definitely. Nothing to do with punk music or punks though. Wp skins had their own music and under ground scene. They call their music Rock Against Communism or nationalist rock.

So you have no idea what it got like in the west ,England and USA in the 80s.. the tabloid media were making all skins look bad, or nazi. Except til SHARP happened in late 80s, 88-89. When they finally got to share their views and be given a voice through Geraldo then this Bey guy.. if it wernt for the first SHARP you might not of ever heard of anti racist or non racist trad skins mate. I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm having trouble understanding why this is so confusing to people. These people (the guests) are all part of a divided subculture. Some of the factions are racist, and the others are anti-racist. Both groups share some commonalities, but are, for all intents and purposes, enemies with each other.

No, he was wrong about of few things. First of all, He was wrong about America began as a white-only country. The Native Americans were here before we were and we took their land from them. He mentioned how Lincoln wanted segregation, that's a lie. He also mentioned on how the skinhead subculture began as a white working class group. The skinhead subculture began with both whites and blacks who were both working class. He failed to mention on how the black and white checkered symbol represented unity between whites and blacks. And he also mentioned about how skinheads were for segregation, that's also a lie. Even though I didn't like how Richard Bey would interrupt his guests but when Michael mentioned about he's not here to talk about skinheads, that interruption was definitely deserving. How can you be on a show to educate people about the skinhead subculture when you don't want to talk about it?

Wanting their voice to be heard on their "forced coexistence" issue or them trying simply to "preserve their heritage". While they try and strive to do what they believe in, they feel america is ignoring their efforts and bringing down the white man for their history and then glorifying the minority, all their efforts in vain. A good example of this, one that makes even the nazi skin feel crucified, and was actually the only thing the Nazi said that i agree with, is that this day in age Brown Pride is fine and normal, Black Pride is healthy, Indian Pride is no issue, and Gay Pride is very positive, nothing considered racist.. but to be White Proud is wrong and shameful?
