I have studied a little bit of Turkish and I must say, these words are not the hardest 😅 Although I found Turkish to be rather easy to learn, because it is more logical and with less confusing rules than German or English. In my opinion, just choosing long words that are hard to remember, even for native speakers reading them for the first time, is not the point in comparing languages.I think comparing different or unique pronunciation and diction/accent and trying to replicate these unique sounds like a native speaker is way more interesting. There are so many languages with at least some long words, so what's the point in comparing. Just choose similarly sized words or words with the same meaning XD

That being said, I don’t know much about Turkish and while the word examples here are not difficult to pronounce, I suspect the language is actually much more complex than that. You mean Polish? I'm from Poland and believe me - Polish has nothing to do with Russian. I don't understand Russian at all, it's very much different. And they even have completely different alphabet. So for us it's offensive, saying that Polish has sth to do with Russian. The most similar to Polish is actually Slovak, also Czech. And we have of course some words from German, as they are our neighbouring country, so there were some influences for centuries - but also some words from French, English, Czech, Latein and so on. German belongs to different group of languages.

if they put Chūshajō instead of chirurgien, the word wouldn't have been hard for anyone

That's what I'm confused about because chirurgien is a French word. So I wondering if they made a mistake or something.

As french we have same world Chirurgien but we don't pronounce it like japanese and in french it means surgeon. Oksijen i guess it right and pronounce right, in french we pronounce it same but write oxygène Explicaçao in portugese, it sounds exactly same as french same pronunciation but we write explication

Brazilian Portuguese, the most widespread and spoken Portuguese in the world, if not the most difficult, is in the top 3. Even those who were born in Brazil and speak it say certain words wrong or don't understand them. Brazilian Portuguese is the preferred Portuguese for foreigners to learn and European or American foreigners who speak Brazilian Portuguese... say it is the most difficult language in the world to learn. Hugs from the Brazilian Midwest 🇧🇷 💙♠️♥️

Nope, Portuguese isn't even on Top 10, there are many languages more hard than Portuguese, For example: Arabic language, Mandarin (Spoken in China and Some others countries), Korean, Nordics languages, Hungarian, Polish,. Russian, Mongolian language, German, Asians languages, Portuguese compared to those languages, it's easy

I don't know she chose those words are not but they were so predictable and not that hard She might have opted for Turkish-oriented words that contain unique letters unfamiliar to users of other languages, such as: "çağrışım", "öğürtü", "şoför", "çeşmibülbül", "çarşamba", "türkçe", "üşengeç", "çuvaldız", etc ... and where's the "muvaffakiyetsizleştiricileştiriveremeyebileceklerimizdenmişsinizcesine" as the last word to make everyone baffled. definitely a missed opportunity. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longest_word_in_Turkish

The Turkish words were loanwords from Western language and the French word was a joke, and a bad one at that. That's some poor research for a video, unless they wanted to influence the outcome.

I think production should pick the same words in each language to see which one is the hardest, they picked short and easy words for some and longer, complex words for others, i mean, even the german girl said that the first word they picked was actually two words.

"Quietcheentchen" is one word and it means "rubber duckie" but like in English it obviously consists of two words to create the meaning. THat's common for a lot of words in German, there are much harder words they could've picked
