Pay attention: notice how all their reasons had to do with people judging their bodies: for the girl with the arms, people were leaving comments about how hairy they are. For the Chinese girl, people commenting on her body. Same for the non-binary guy too. The moral of the story is we gotta leave people alone and let them live their own life. Your words carry weight.

When the girl was talking about how she hoped people would stop looking at her hairy arms and instead notice her tattoo I can relate, I used to wear heavy eye makeup so that people would look at my eyes rather than my acne, I'd rather people say negative comments about something that I can easily remove than the skin I live in everyday

Im a girl and i have hair on my legs and arms and people give me stares like "ewww gross have you ever heard of shaving" especially girls.i shaved my arm which after sometime it grew longer and i just gave up i didn't want to do the same thing to my legs because they would grow longer.and now i walk on the streets with my hairy legs and i don't even give a damn sometimes it depends on my mood(im a black girl so the hair is really visible)but which doesn't mean i cant be insecure all the time

This is such a heart warming video, but i really wish this channel did the second of research and not use an artist that copied tattoos. Just the fact this video uses a copied tattoo as a portfolio piece for the artist is really jarring, a channel with 10M should have checked that and considered an artist that does original work and not promote one that steals tattoos. That being said the tattoo's done on the people in this video are beautiful and I'm happy the clients got what they wanted.

I usually wear knee-lenght clothes as well, but that's not because of my strech marks (they stopped bothering me), the reasons are either my mom not allowing me to wear short things or laziness when it comes to shaving xD

I am an 18 year old girl and I have had suchhhh hairy arms (we‘re talking about dark brown, long asf arm hair) but I would never wish that I had no arm hair, I love it. It keeps me warm and idk I almost feel kinda cool showing it off. It makes me less „average“ I guess. I used to joke about it but I don‘t even feel the need to do that anymore to be honest. I love it and I wish that other people like me would be able to appreciate it too. it makes me sad to see people be ashamed of it:/

It’s so annoying when people get shamed for hairy arms or bad thighs my dads boss would shame him for being over weight and hairy arms and made him shave it even though he was the top medical sales rep and won a trip to Rome for being the best he quit because of him and didn’t get the trip and filed a complaint and the boss got fired. I think the comments are more people trying to be supportive than strictly telling her how to think or that she "doesn't deserve to think negatively" about her own body. Everyone here (from what I've read) has been pretty supporting of pretty much everyone on BuzzFeed (or now As/Is), and show how much they don't care about body shape and sizes. I'm insecure about parts of my body, but someone could look at me and reassure me that it's fine. I know this doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, but I'm just trying to say that they're trying to tell the people they're okay, and they shouldn't worry too much about X Y or Z. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. Little compliments to some people can mean the world. But hey, everyone has their own opinion, and a right to share it. :)

I wish Buzzfeed got a different tattooer (I refuse to call this person an artist) to do this video. They’re promoting a tattooer who copies another tattoo artist’s work. Namely Johnny Gloom who is responsible for the original piece of the crying eyes with the manicure hands on the face. After reviewing this tattooer’s Instagram she has also copied another custom piece by Johnny Gloom. Just stop plagiarizing someone else’s work and profiting off of it. Have some modicum of integrity.

The Audrey Show just because a client asks for it doesn’t mean that they have to do it. Most tattooers with integrity just suggest to the client that they can make something inspired off of their picture they came in with. To create something new and unique to the customer.

Man that girl should see MY arm hair and legs!! 😂 I'm like related to Chewbacca or something I used to be really self conscious of my arm hair and would get made fun of and would shave or I would always wear long sleeves but now IDGAF. I still got married and he didn't really seem to care. I sometimes joke with him and say I'm the man in the relationship because he doesn't have much body hair and I'm hairy AF 😂

My arms are the one part of my body I compulsively shaved for years for that reason. I could stand having a bit of hair on my legs and even armpit hair if I knew my clothes would hide it. But I couldn't stand having hair on my arms, whether I wore long or short sleeves. I remember once, it was mentioned in a class I was in that some people would shave their arms and my classmates were astonished cause they thought it was "too much", but I looked at the girls' arms and they all had nice light brown or blonde hair, or darker skin, which hid the hair better. I realized they just didn't get it.

If someone is trans that means they identify as a gender that doesn't match the body they were born into, and being nonbinary means you aren't a guy or a girl. They were born into a male body, but they don't identify as male, so they are trans, and since they identify as neither male nor female, they are nonbinary

So if you were born a man and you say 1. you’re trans: that means you’re not a man (most likely women) 2. Is you say nonbinary: not a man not a women. So when he said he was nonbinary (=not a man or woman) the trans was completely unnecessary. If you say that you’re non binary that automatically means your trans.. just sayin

That first tattoo of the Ying's they show on the right is stolen artwork. A real tattooist would never tattoo stolen artwork or another artist's work unless it was flash or the artist was asked. If anything, she should have given it her own twist. Disappointing to say the least.
