Last year I got food poisoning from Taco Bell’s shredded chicken burritos (arguably one of the worst things to get food poisoning from) I’m also a college student who had 2 finals the next morning. I chugged half a bottle of Imodium and trekked to class in a snowstorm while holding a plastic bag, which I puked in outside of my classroom. I ended up getting an A- and a B+ on my finals but I lost my dignity in the process (edit: y’all hyping me up in the comments is the most validation i’ve received in my 22 years of life god bless thank u)

Mine was shrimp 😫 my uncle cooked shrimp on the grill and I LOVED SHRIMP. It tasted so good but once we got home I was like 🤢🤢🤢 it was absolutely horrible, I had no idea if I had to poo or throw up or if I had to do it at the same time 😂 but I won’t go into detail about it lmao I had it for a week.

I get food poisoning EVERYTIME I eat sesame seed chicken from a Chinese restaurant, not a single specific restaurant just ANY Chinese restaurant, it took about 4 times of me getting food poisoning to realize maybe I just shouldn’t eat this anymore

I got food poisoning once from chili cheese fries from Universal Studios, it was horrible , so horrible that I emailed them and told them because it ruined my whole week & just hoped to prevent it for someone else . Thankfully they were very understanding. They had me right a statement and the whole staff that was working when I visited had to get extra training... I also got free merch and food vouchers for later visits. But to be honest, it took me a while to even eat anything from there 😂

Imagine the cheapest possible taco salad, then imagine a family of six all vomiting that salad, half digested, at once, in a house with only 1 and a half bathrooms. Iy managed to ruin ALL taco salads for me, for a while. I can eat homemade stuff fine now but if I smell that nasty cheesey aroma I still feel queasy.

I went to dinner last night and ordered scallops over pasta. I wasn’t a fan of it but still ate 3 scallops. My dad was like “oh I want to try this!” And then he was what the heck these are really fishy tasting! (Which is a sign they’re contaminated) and so now I’m just waiting for 48 hours to pass by so I can relax! It’s already been 13 and I’m fine so hopefully I don’t get sick! But I’m really scared because I HATE throwing up😭🤢

I remember eating at Olive Garden and I had the worst food poisoning EVER. I threw up so much I had bruises on my stomach. I ended up going again a month later 😂

I don’t remember the name of the hibachi place we went to around Tampa Florida, but everyone in my 6 family got sick. It was during cooking and my sister was feeling sick. My mom took her to the bathroom she threw up every where it was so bad we had to leave in the middle of it . My mom then got sick and then my dad and then my brother and then my other sister and I knew it was going to hit me. I then got super sick too! It was terrible. I only had lo mein , I got sick from a Chinese . I threw up so bad that day. And I said I wouldn’t eat Chinese then I eat it one day when we stoped at a hotel after driving from fl to nj and it was in nc and I eat some and I was up all night with he worst stomach ache and vomiting so yup no Chinese for me ever :) thanks for reading this long story lol

If you both got sick almost immediately it's basically impossible thses are the foods that got you sick. Food poisoning incubation periods are around 48 hours, and for listeria (in soft cheeses) can be up to 8 weeks. It's more likely you're blaming the wrong food, or are blaming food for a stomach bug.

Does the coleslaw lady understand that it isn't food poisoning if other people ate the same exact item from the same container and not get sick? Sometimes a food doesn't agree with you, but that doesn't mean it is food poisoning. I literally spent a year sick from the food I had no other option to consume, but I never claimed food poisoning. It just didn't agree with me.

I’m glad I’m looking back laughing at this but I got food poisoning from a octopus casserole in Lanzarote and had to go through two days with food poisoning. I remember sitting in the car with the windows shut boiling and constantly throwing up. Meanwhile my family were on a volcano tour. The flight back was the worse thing ever.
