The aghs upgrade is actually based of a meme post on reddit, the pocket riki. There's a specific build you need to go for it to work, and even then it's...situational.

Always fun to see you get a hang of the hero as the match progresses. Smoke is a crazy skill, it would be an ultimate on most heroes. Aoe silence and 75% miss chance on a long duration and short cooldown? Can't even purge it since its an area? Crazy good. On support Riki Sleepdart/Aghshard into meteor hammer is pretty great.
Tbh the Aegis you grabbed was much better than 99% of Wraith King Aegises out there. It just makes it so that in the case of a lost fight WK dies alone for the third time with no backup because everyone else is already either dead or escaping. WK Aegis has much less impact than any other core having it.
The reason why Riki doesnt feel dirty is because DotA has 3 ways to reveal invisible units only in the shop. Not to mention skills that can reveal. Also anyone can get Shadow blade and be invisible. In HotS there are no items and no way to reveal the invisibles and thats why it feels like dirty and cheaty.

Old riki was much more dangerous, tricks used to hit everything in range and the scepter aoe was nuts with like 6-8 seconds of it, the ideal is you get a diffusal and then smoke/slow someone and just as they get out to stun you, disjoint with the tricks and pounce them again.. I miss that blink strike range, thing could jump the backline and instantly gimp a sup. Dart can be good but so many riki's get a meteor hammer and become virtually useless all game being a meme... Usually it goes diffusal, fury, crit, bkb, nullifier and an abysal in an order you feel you need it, you can also change it up with a sange and yasha, turn them into a halberd and manta if you are dealing with something you don't want swinging or something like a silencer ult or just a skadi if you want some more stats.
Fun fact that twitch chat probably spammed- Riki's aghanim upgrade was, for YEARS- a meme. "Pocket Riki" was a joke that people made for many years, and seeing it actually be in the game was one of the greatest Dota moments ever And until recently, Riki also had a lvl 25 talent that allowed him to not have a delay on invisibility, meaning he could do anything, especially attack, and remain fully invisible
a little bit of a tips for anyone who always get stomped by riki. this hero has a fatal weakness, he cannot jungle. so, if you see the enemy has a carry riki, just bring a dust and camp one of the sidelanes. he will always farming in the lane. unless.. you let him snowball in the laning phase. in that case he's gonna be farming heroes.
A very good tip would be always putting smoke on yourselves when pushing towers when you have enemy initiators such as magnus, Void spirit, axe and others.

this is the first time i feel he needed the chat on, got so many things wrong reading spells and talents ahah (it's fair, riki's kit is written kinda weirdly and is a pretty unique hero)
i had the weirdest fn dream the other night where i was in the zombie apocalypse and for some reason grubby was with me helping me loot houses tryign to find a safe place to stay crazy dream.
1 value point in your smoke is nice on Riki, enemies standing in it can't really do anything. One of the biggest mistakes with how this character is currently played is not levelling smoke.
It was painful to watch. Smoke bomb is your best ability. And it MUST be leveled once in fist levels. You could have at least 3 more kills wothout any problems
Rikki is completely fair. Wards NEGATE his his existence (thats right, 50g counters his ultimate ability) as well as the gem and dust. Which cannot be said for World of warcraft in which; there is NO COUNTER to rogues, to be able to casually reveal them. So I say good game to you sir! 😎👍
Lol im usually happy if they pick clinkz or riki means they are usually noob. You just need to know how to counter them with the proper heroes. I think they are almost not picked in pro games.
Riki isnt that good you just need your carry to buy bkb and supports to buy dust and force staff, All his dmg is physical so ghost scepter will make you untouchable to him (unless he buys nullifier but nobody buys nullifier)
nullifier is amazing and tricks still goes through everything you listed; he's not a great carry because you can't burst a whole team down like other pos 1s by himself but can totally dominate. the fact he's invisble is mostly a drawback tho, free dust slows lol, but the fact just his presence makes the opponent use gold and precious inventory slot on all those items for a chance to kill him is worth it in itself
