@@aisthetic.art1she is speaking slang swahili...that doesnt follow the guidelines of the official swahili language...so by saying 'kijana' ....she just means 'guy'...there is no reference for 'young' in her statement...because they even look around the same age...
@@Homeofreason001 The word for handsome in Swahili is so formal and is rarely used in the conversational sense. So we just use beautiful for both men and women
Virtually the entire world thinks they’re the ugliest whether Russian, Indian Arab , Japanese, Chinese, American, Vietnamese or Argentinian. Indeed in the uk the biggest racial minority is mixed race with the vast majority derived from black men choosing white women. Ofc the notion of most beautiful is entirely subjective. This woman through my objective eyes is breathtaking but i see beauty in all races. Partly because I’m not a pathetic child

@@Amish07Okay kijana could mean young man or young woman; has nothing to do with gender but 100% about age. To be more specific one could say kijana wa kike = young woman or kijana wa kiume = young man
@@ahmedabdi7938I am also Kenyan and there is no such thing as Tanzania Swahili or Kenya Swahili; they speak the same standard Swahili. The only difference is that most Tanzanians speak the correct grammar and most Kenyans (not all) break the grammatical rules more often.
She said this handsome boy has come here to talk to me. Im quater Angolan, quater Colombian, quater swedish, quater German but ive lived in kenya a long time
Handsome is 'mtanashati' beautiful is 'mrembo', so it's 'this beautiful young person (kijana is not gender specific, just young person) has come to speak to me'
This cute guy came to talk with me 🇷🇼, also keep in mind that there different variations of Swahili and they sound different. Tanzania, Kenya, Republic Democratic of Congo speak differently toned Swahili but its their official language . As for Burundi and Rwanda its just that majority of the population speak Swahili but it’s not an official spoken language for neither.
