Get a Concealed carry permit and get training with guns that fit your hand, learn how the action works. And become comfortable enough to take your life in your own hands. Get more than 1 pepper spray for non-lethal so you can deter assault, but if you need to you have the ladder to truly end the threat.

my mom got me one because i walk to school but my principal said it’s considered a weapon but he will let me have it because i live kinda far and there’s a lot of homeless and i’m a girl

My concern would be accidentally using spray on oneself. Surely it wouldn't be easy to cartoonishly have it accidentally turned around, but I've been around when bear spray, for example, has gone off, and let me tell you it affects everyone in the vicinity. Now obviously Mace won't have the same potency as bear spray might, but is there not still a concern that in using this sort of spray (which may not, hypothetically speaking, have ever been used and has been "on the shelf" for a good while) one may inadvertently incapacitate themself too?

It's a gel so if you do use it on yourself then you have to be really accurate but on top of that you have to lift the cover that the button is under. I just purchased it and practiced shooting it outside, it's quick yes but it's not a spray so chances of you accidentally spraying yourself are slim

Hey i have a quastion. You have in your offer pepper spray for keys it is also recommended to have it with cars keys. And just wanted to ask how safe it is if car would got very hot?

A security guard advised me to check the direction of any wind before spraying. If you spray into some wind, the spray might blow right back into your face.

i would say keep it in ur right pocket at all times, keep everything else in the other pocket incase of leaks. putting it in ur purse or belt defeats the purpose cos u need to be fast

I would just like to say, you guys need to come up with a better top/closure on these things. One little slide of the lever and it's very easy to accidentally discharge these. A woman keeping one of these in her purse is an accident waiting to happen.

@Ldy Della I understand that, but my wife isn't jogging or anything like that, she'd like to be able to carry it in her purse and then just have it in hand when walking to and from the car - she can't do that with these containers because they'll go off in her purse. Also, I would strongly advise against the gel - it takes far too long to work. I have a lot of friends who are LEO, and nobody uses the gel. Watch the videos, they're accurate, the gel takes about fifteen or twenty seconds to start having ANY effect on the person you spray it on - by that time, you're in a whole lot of trouble. The liquid stream spray is by far the better alternative. If you wait for the gel to start working, odds are, whoever you sprayed it on is already going to have their hands on you and they're going to be really mad now. Take care!

@@nachtjager77 I live in a very windy city. The spray would blow back and incapacitate me. Either way, I'd be incapacitated. I'd rather have the gel (and feel safer from this dude who has been creeping around my apartment complex) than have nothing at all.🤷‍♀️

All that's true but I've noticed that you need two hands to release it which is questionable. One hand holds the spray and the other is used to release the quick release.
