Rick Riordan is amazing. He is educating so many people about Greek, Egyptian, Roman, and Norse mythology while teaching acceptance with so many different characters that help kids feel like they're not alone. DON'T YOU DARE TELL ME RICK RIORDAN SUCKS

The first real book I ever read was Percy Jackson and the lightning theif. I was 3. No joke. I have read all the books including HoO, ToA, etc. A million times over.
I just want to say that I hate how people say that the only thing percy was fixated on was the fact that nico said he wasn't his type because he was selfish or whatever. And the jokes people make regarding the ' I thought I wasn't your type.' I mean, as a fandom joke, harmlessly, it's fine, but some people genuinely think that percy was shocked at the fact that nico didn't like him anymore , he was probably just shocked at the fact that he liked him in the first place. All im saying, is that percy was not being close minded or selfish or anything. People react in different ways to such things, and later on he never said anything about the fact that he wasn't nicos type. Life went on, and Rick never addressed that again. Sorry if this insults anyone, you don't need my permission to do what you want.
