Welcome to "The Game Show", the talk show all about the world of television game and competition shows broadcast on WRHU-FM. On each episode, host Bradley Clarke discusses a topic pertaining to the television genre he knows and loves. On this episode, the twentieth in the series, Bradley Clarke is joined by one of the most successful game show producers in television history, former Executive Producer of “The Price Is Right”, Roger Dobkowitz. From 1984 until 2008, Roger was “top dollar” on television’s longest running game show and actually worked on “The Price Is Right” since the first episode, which aired on September 4th, 1972. Roger is the creator of 18 pricing games and has one of the greatest masses of “Price Is Right” knowledge you will ever come across, often times appearing on camera when host Bob Barker wanted to check and make sure of a historic moment. Recently, Roger appeared in “The Price Is Right” documentary “Perfect Bid: The Contestant Who Knew Too Much”, which stars episode 17 “Game Show” guest Ted Slauson. Roger gives Bradley a lot of insight regarding his time working on “The Price Is Right” and gives his perspective on the famous perfect bid episode of the show. Plus, for the “Game of the Day”, Roger plays a version of the last ever pricing game he created for “The Price Is Right”, “Gas Money”.
