You know what I love about Flyleaf? Lacey's past shaped her to the way she is, and she's a Christian now. and her voice is extremely unique other than all of the other bands out there today. Flyleaf is one of my favorite Christian bands, same with Barlow Girl. :) If you like Flyleaf, you guys might also like Barlow Girl. But with Flyleaf, they're so original, you can only love it.
they are amzing cus they write there music for praise to GOD and for the people to enjoy...you kno its all from there hearts and not for there pockets lol....

to me this song is bout the begin' process of findin faith. in the beginning its talking about how all the efforts to clean ourselves and trying to do it ourselves, we just make the situation even worse and nothing changed. then its talking about how we then try to cope with it with some natural world confrt and when u open these windows to try to cool off, heat comes in. then its talking about how we're perfect in weekness, for we are going off his strength.
it just goes to show how torn apart people can be when we are not all in 1 mind. like the christian churches. several "branches" but 1 book. the reason for that happening is because some people wanted to form, what they learned/heard, around what they wanted to believe. the problem with disagreements in a church is due to people's personal desires. they want "this" to mean 1 thing, while someone wants "this" to mean another. Ohmygod I wish that people would stop arguing about religion and shit in the comment section of RU-vid videos for bands like Flyleaf and Skillet!!! I'm really sick of seeing people argue while I'm trying to listen to a good song. Ugghh.
awh. such is the sign of maturity. sadly, some people do not even feel shame or guilt. to feel that something we do/have done is wrong, gives us a chance to see how others, who do the same things (whatever they may be), and, if we are striving to be like God, can see the difference in a God striving person, from 1 who does not. ofc, if we are not broken, why do we need to be mended? if we are not lost, why should we be saved? our brokeness shows God's power. remember that as well ^^
I swear, on every single Flyleaf video everyone is arguing in the comments about religion. While we all may have different religions, what we can agree on is that Flyleaf is an awesome band that makes amazing music. So respect peoples' religions & enjoy the music xx
Well said... It's just music, if you like it, enjoy it and don't let the fact that somebody who sings it is a christian or not, change your views on the song. I'm NOT a christian and I love bands like Flyleaf and Skillet. ^^
idc that flyleaf is a christian band. My family is catholic/baptist, but I don't believe in anything. I might later on, but for now it's just boring and confusing. Maybe when I'm older. I don't care about what others believe in, either. It's their life, not mine. I like the music, so I listen to it.
I believe in G0d and I also believe G0d gave us free will as a gift. Therefore, you can believe whatever you want. It's better for you and G0d for you to come to Him out of love instead of guilt. It will make your relationship that much stronger. But if you choose not to, you chose that for a reason. Good luck and you have great taste in music! :)

@christianfishy yes we see them..but remember: 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect..we have to be careful which music we think is pleasureble to GOD's ear and which isnt..
I don't know about other Atheists, but that is who I believe in. I have always believed that I am on my own. My successes and failures are all my own, not decided by God. This is my own belief, and I don't really care who agrees or disagrees. Anyway, what does this have to do with Flyleaf?

I only listen to flyleaf because they make good music. In fact I listen to a lot of christian bands, Red, Thousand Foot Krutch, Pillar and others. Not really. Death is death, whatever happens happens. I don't know what and honestly I just don't care. I tend to live in the now, not the later. Don't get that confused with not planning though, I have my future generally planned out.
@iROlLWiTCHriSt You don't seem to understand that Lacey never geared her songs toward Christians only. Most of the Christians I know, if you can believe it, have called Flyleaf a demonic band until I introduced them to the lyrics. The fact is, most people do like beats and sounds more than the words; but Lacey said herself they don't sit down and say "Let's write a song about God and our faith", it just turns out that way. What we see behind it may not be the real meaning.
@RainbowMuffinzz1 So there is no gray zone in life there is only white or black, if you're listening to flyleaf that's great but please be considerate of the meaning of the song cause there is no point in listening if you don't pay mind to the words. One other thing, you're kind of contradicting yourself cause I wouldn't listen to a demonic song then comment on it saying screw devil worshipers, but this band is awesome regardless.. I'm not a Christian, and I still love Flyeleaf's music.. The only difference beetween Christians and me is simple.I don't find the Christian meanings of their songs.I was raised in Christian culture, and if I try, I CAN find the Christian meaning of their songs, but I don't feel.. I don't know? I just don't FEEL like those songs have Christian meanings. But HEY. Music is music, if you feel the meaning - cool, if you don't - cool. Why do we have to fight over the religion subject? WHY?
Ok, who cares if whoever is a Christian or not? She sings amazingly, and Flyleaf has awesomme music. Why can't we leave it at that? Your religious beliefs don't make up who you are unless you let them. It seems that these days it's impossible to do anything or say anything without religion being brought up. -.- Honestly, why should it matter?
