Appreciate your honesty and dedication to your children. My dad owned had his own house painting company but I didn’t learn anything from him cause he left us when I was four years old, so I appreciate you being in your children’s lives. I’m 61 now and he past away in April at 95 years old and we talked and mended our bridge years earlier.
I subscribed because you're the type a guy who gets up after being knocked down. You're the guy who shows up a 5:00 AM when your friend needs help. You're the guy with a truck on moving day. It's when you're down in the shit when your true character comes out and I like your character, warts and all, because I know you'd have my back if we were friends. That's a big part of what life's about. Thanks for sharing!
We appreciate you for being real with us!!! That’s why we love and appreciate you!! Whenever I need work done on my home, you are the person I will call.... Happy New Year to you and your family!! 🎊🎉🥳
Keep doing you brother. You guys are 100% legit. I'm a construction worker(mostly concrete walls & slabs) from the east coast. I like watching the masterpieces you guys create. Don't succumb to the vultures, keep doing you your doing a good thing.

So my grandfather was a foster child knew his mother very little. Had 2 brothers he protected to the point of using his mp abilities to keep his brother from coming to Korea, 3 silver stars and 5 bronze, he was trying to teach me what you speak of. Wish I could learn closer but alabama is not ideal lol
Despite how 2020 was with the pandemic you still killed it. I know you are going to kill it in 2021 and you have all the equipment to be successful. You got this.
Well it's going to be about 20 degrees around Christmas, but it doesn't look like we will have snow. Luckily our governor hasn't made working outside illegal yet.
Looks nice! Well done. Regarding the advertising revenue, take it while you can no matter how little if their happy to pay you be happy to take it from them! ++++
I was telling a friend who retired 3 years ago that I thought I would never hear myself saying this but I am tired of not doing anything. This covid has slowed, stopped and closed up some businesses and the 3 days a week part time work I had went to once a week and nothing, but can't think of many people wanting their kitchens and or bathrooms tornout and being put back.
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete even if your wearing mask and gloves already, not sure if more middle aged (40 to 50) are more afraid of this really bad 100 year flu as it should be the 65/70 plus age group who should be but ain't..,and like you glad I don't have any major expenditures and saved some to the side for holiday slowdown but this plandemic is not fun for the lazy ones(like me) who enjoy 3 or 4 day work weeks but no days is trying to have fun but can't go anywhere.I know its gonna end soon..
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete I stay busy one way or another, girlfriend went away with her daughters for a few days and came back to the popcorn ceiling(this stuff had clear sparkly glitter from that special era) removed from the hallway and spare bedroom, hallway ceiling skim coated, sanded, etcetera painted bright white flat, walls lo sheen, high gloss trim all in bright friggen white(her choice) bedroom ceiling done walls patched and trim caulked and still ain't done, her house her choice of colors, but yes agree on keeping active and the mind occupied is needed I just didn't wanna be like that dude paddle boarding in Malibu getting chased by lifeguard and LA sheriffs boats (that was social distancing) then read exercise is an essential activity so been hitting the LA riverbed to Long Beach towards Seal Beach and up the San Gabriel river so far no PD has said anything yet, before I forget like the work you do and never thought about pavers on cement, good idea and gonna try it on small area for an outdoor brick oven..
What's that zampax? And how old were you when you started out? I started on my own in 2017 and learning different skills from 2018 to the present I've grown a lot. I do carpentry, concrete, landscaping, fencing, metal roofing, and mostly remodeling. It's cool because with a general contractors license I can get most jobs.
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete ok cool. I’m planning to come out to Cali next year to visit my cousin, he’s big on construction out there and we’re just trying to blend and branch out on any level that we can.
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete no, I’m coming from South Carolina, my cell is (843) 599-1434 but I’m working on creating my company’s website and company’s own info now
Covid slowed down the last couple of months. And I've been working on paid ads for my videos. Plus with school's closed I couldn't leave my kids home alone
Not in Ireland. In America there is always a person on top of the ladder to help you up. In Ireland there is always person on top of the ladder to kick you down. In Ireland it's not what you know its who you know. In Ireland you would be a failure because your good worker and honest.
not sure adding anything to the concrete mix itself will ultimately help against frost-heave if your ground is freezing and thawing. if you're not deep enough, eventually it will move/crack anything!
I don't live in freez areas. I think if it's tied with rebar and a mini key in the center of the slab. It would have to move the whole slab. But again I don't have any experience with it. It was just a thought. I'm sure you are probably right.
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete yeah that definitely helps! But over time, mother nature always wins when it comes to ice. The pressure that the ice lenses cause when they form will shift almost anything, it's just a matter of time. That's why for large-scale buildings you have to put the foundation below the freeze-thaw line. Great video as always, keep up the good work!
Tony a masters degree in concrete construction engineering is.. Either a B.S. in C.E. or 5 years of equivalent journeyman experience ;) that job turned out (.)(.)
@@WestCoastCustomConcrete not really own a business 40 yrs, Chicago, I'm major league, your church league sunday softball, keep posting your stupid videos, OSHA will love you, if you even know what that is
@@tonyw2136 😂 man I should be flattered!! A big hitter like you had time to write on my you tube channel.not only are you a joke you are a liar. Go back to watching porno hubb. You can get your frustrations out. Good luck bro
Hey brother not sure if you remember me from one of your recent videos. I believe it was the floating steps in OC. Like i mentioned before im an Auto Tech. Dont even work in concrete/construction. But like your videos. I sat back and watch them thinking man this guy has never made mistakes, he’s making good money etc not thinking it takes a journey with downfalls to get to where you’re at. This is truly humbling and great to hear. Thanks for the advice of never giving up and always moving forward truly motivational. God bless brother and shout out from San Diego Ca! 💯
