"Hey, you're not supposed to be here!" "My gun!" "She's here!" "Stop where you are." If they ever make a game that's better than Perfect Dark, I'm selling my left foot.
Perfect Dark had one of the best soundtracks in the past video games. Being young sucked for me but memories of playing these types of games keeps me missing the past. Games like this and Conker Bad Fur Day.
This song reminds me about when you have those meat sims on and you die and you're like "that couldn't have been a meat" and it was a meat and you're all "fucking a, a meat just killed me". So now you're raged because meats are the dumbest in the planet and you keep dying because there's no weapons spawning and you hear that ten second counter. Game over. (Tear)
Damn i can't believe its been like 11 years. I was 9 when i first played this and am now 19 going on 20. I still love this game. I can now go through it in less than an hour
Wow. I used to ALWAYS tell my friends back when we were little that this reminded me of Chicago, the music and the dark, rainy atmosphere in this level. And look at the name. Dejavu. (However it's spelled.)
Que de souvenirs ! This is definitely one of my favourite tunes in the game. Seriously, the game was a milestone in the shooting game franchise. I remember how awesome the multiplayer mode was. C'est le meilleur jeu du monde !
This, Airbase, Carrington villa, and Datadyne Defection are the best tunes in the game. They're all good though. They did really well with the music in this game.
Im honestly going to invite my old mates just to play this, it was so awesome. Im 14 a week from 15 and back when i was 9 i used to be so happy to come home from school because i would be playing PD
Rare made some of the greatest music back in the day for games. Donkey kong had great sound tracks, zelda, perfect dark. And i'm sure there are others that i don't know about too. But those are what i've played :p
"STOP WHERE YOU ARE!" just poped out on my head like the first 3 sec.....the painful memories... that son of a.. grrr..X(, lol love this game, never got bored of it and i still have it, i have the n64 close to my wii and perfect dark is on xD, only game i play on the N64 now lol
Straight to my favorite song, I see. First in playlist. I was actually going to go through these and find this one (looking for it specifically). I love the atmosphere.
Back in the day, you could just chill in your basement in front of your tv with either your friends by yourself and just play video games and think nothing of it. Homework was easy to finish, you didn't have to have a job, etc...but the whole thing was, you weren't thinking about it! You could entirely devote yourself, mind, body, and soul to game and just play your heart out. Those were the days.
Gaurd 1: What the hell was that? Gaurd 2: I never liked that robot anyway. Gaurd 3: The boss is not gonna be pleased. Gaurd 4: We could always get another one.
@Yoshifire98 I miss being in school, then come home, into my room, shut the door and play video games all day. Then stay up all night and eat, play video games, listening to music then watch some good ol tv shows, didn't have to have a job, but get checks while in school. I'd give anything to go back and enjoy it all over again. Good times... :(
Same here man. I got the game again a few months ago and despite it being nearly a decade of not playing the game I still knew where most of the guards were and the level maps. Can't wait for this to hit Xbox Arcade! :D
This game makes me think about the old times, good times good times. Thumbs up if youv had good times in perfect dark! And thumbs up if youv had good times back then!
absolutely an awesome tune! it´s so suited to perfect dark and to this level. i always was more into video games music instead of "real music". i think perfect dark soundtrack from the year 2000 would kick much ass in the regular music charts!
@Yoshifire98 One more word and i will cry... Good old times man, good old times... The best first person shooter and the best musics, only in this game you feel the music your mind. :)
@tellavision01 Great times were had indeed! Though it was a stressful level to play through - especially on the harder difficulty settings hehe.Kinda interesting to see such a bold contrast to this relaxing music and that bleak-looking city block with the heavy rainfall. That drone with the machine guns goddamn I always had such a hard time working around it LOL!!! :P
Listening to this while having a smoke in the courtyard at my work in the city., it hid building is designed a lot like the ones in the game "chicargo" ahhhhhhhh nostalgia
excellent song although one at the time that i had a nightmare ..it was that me running through a wood and somebody chase me!! fuck i'm freaking shit !!!!but i love perfect dark always
I reall Miss the N 64 and the Playstation, i wish i could go back in time to when this was all i had and relive it. i miss old games and how i can't jsut go to wallmart and buy controllers or games for them. :(
ya i remember when i first got it too. I don't think i had that much fun with a consul game since. Halo was fun, but i dunno. something about perfect dark that really did it in for me. I really miss this game. Perfect dark Zero dispointed alot of people. I would be nice if they did a remake of it, but updated graphics a bit and maybe throw in a little extra content here and there. They would be surprised how well it would sell.
It's always fun to play this game in the Felicity and play King of the Hill. Especially when the hill was in the bathroom (My inside joke) IT'S MY BATHROOM!!! :) I'm just happy that it came out on Xbox Live and we've been allowed a second chance to reminisce in what used to be the best of the best! Just remember, it's my bathroom!
WHAT... PAIN!!! =) I miss this game... Oh, wait. No I don't, cause I still play it. Yes, this game has such a pleasant nostalgia to it. I miss games like this.
