PERFECT JOINTS EVERY TIME! Make your glue joints invisible by solvent bonding! Plastic solvents weld plastic, they don't glue it. By dissolving 2 parts at a joint, they flow together and become one. After 24 hrs. minimum parts can be sanded. If you want perfection with even light glare on joints, let the parts dry for a week before sanding and painting to make joints evaporate completely. As solvents come out of the plastic the joint will change so it's best to wait longer than 24hrs if you seek the best top notch pro job possible.

What about heat from torch to burnish or whatever people call it. Flame polish. I mean after joining it all. Sand it a little then torch a little? Maybe a bigger deal on clear acrylic?

Styrene is a really low temp polymer, sand only or file. Acrylic as you say is the one that's typically flame polished. Better be dry though as it's hygroscopic and will blister as the moisture boils.
