I love that you include the head sheet because that's what I learned in school and it makes everything so much easier! You are such an amazing instructor. Thank you for the free education. It has really made a huge difference in my life.
This haircut and this tutorial are amazing❣. I have waist length curls and it is a nightmare to go to the hair salon so I followed your so complete guide and it is the first time I have no regrets and I love a layered haircut on my long curls❣. I cannot thank you enough and it is because I am making this comment. Thank you very much you are a true master Matt. 🖤 🖤 🖤
@@ameenahatim Yes many times. It is very difficult for me to keep the tension of the hair at each angle, because I want to keep the length, but I have understood it better when I also do this cut on another person. The first time I didn't notice the guide going through each section and that the cutting line at the ends was always parallel to the head. I hope this helps you.
Followed! Would love to have this as im building my cliental. Would be a wonderful option to offer my clients! Thank you for taking the time to teach each of us here.
Matt I absolutely love your channel and I've been watching since I was in beauty school....I would love if you would show us partings and if you could please , when working with dark hair wearing a light colored top just so we can see the hair better 😘
Omgsh like me for real I won! Yay 😁 I’m so excited right now! Ok I’m sending you my info! I watch your videos all the time and learn a lot but so thankful for the give away! God is so good he knew I wanted this! 🙏🏻😇🙌📖❤️
Followed. I don't know if you remember me but I attended one of your bob haircut class in Philadelphia. Anyhow, that AI device would be so nice and awesome to have and to use on all of my clients. I really want to get one. Thank you Matt for the tutorial.
I have extremely thick & long hair. On top of all the tangles, it's also going grey. The texture has changed with age and now I have my hair like my schnauzer dog!
I did hair in late 90's early 2000. I mostly like cutting men's hair. But I must say a girl with beautiful med think hair I loved to cut. Very simular to your style of cutting. I cut my daughters hair like this she has natural long hair with a wave. Never blow dryer or curling iron. It's funny it seemed most men stylist new this cut but not women stylist They were in awe how I cut it I call it the girl from impenema hair style. Just natural
Already following!! I’m a recent Grad from Paul Mitchell I would love to try this out to continue my education!!! I think it is so cool ! I would love to try it ! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I love your videos! I just wish they were a little more consistent in explaining every detail. In this video I couldn’t tell, when you started cutting the front, if you took a small section from the back for your guide line. I also couldn’t tell if you were bringing everything to a stationary guide or a traveling guide in the front. I feel like, when your an expert, you don’t think those details matter, but they do for the people who are watching these videos, because we obviously aren’t experts and learning, that’s why we’re hear 😊 some of your videos do explain in very good detail and I LOVE those ones. Some feel rushed.
My daughter has long hair, I notice that long hair up to the waist is the peak max perfect length, but anything longer to the butt does not look good on anyone. Layers have been around for a long time.
I have waist-length hair, and am thinking about getting it cut in long layers. Is it necessary to blow it dry and style it? I'm used to wash and go, and maybe putting it in a braid....
I almost cried when I saw how much got cut off at some parts... this is why I dont get haircuts very often they always want to chop off long hair.. why???
In minute 4:13 Matt travels the guide from back to the crown section that allow blend the layers. I did this haircut some times and in this way the layers blends softly.
