Looks like 2020's over. Use these expressions to vent.
It's been challenging for everyone, guys, and I thank you for being with me on this journey. I love and appreciate you all. I wish you a wonderful new year and blessings to you and your loved ones. Take care of yourselves.

I don't recall if it was mentioned before but there's a good expression here that says "sar fi baynetna 5ebz w mele7" means we've made acquaintance with each other, or we've become friendly It literally means "now there's bread and salt between us" 😁

Is there a video out there that explains what the numbers mean? Like in N2eber. I've seen 2, 3, and 7 used, I have no idea what they mean, maybe make a video about it? (I don't have money for Patreon, sorry D: )

@celena702 3 года назад
We call it the internet language it's writing in English/French alphabet the usual arabic (mostly dialects and not the MSA) we use it when texting on WhatsApp essentially. And so we included the numbers since there are some letters that are not in the English alphabet. The 5(خ) though can be written "kh" but just the number 5 is more practical 😁

@celena702

@celena702
@celena702 3 года назад

😂 good question. No in fact it’s the Arabic chat alphabet aka Arabizi. The numbers stand for similar looking Arabic letters/sounds which don’t have a letter in the Roman alphabet. I’ll cover that in a video soon.
