Perfect RV Ladders - RV Gear Review - Telescoping Extension Ladders. With the right ladder, you can save space in your RV…while also keeping it handy. We have been RVing for over 3 years now, and among the laundry list of Must-Have RV items…we have found a dependable ladder is essential. For years, we have traveled with an original 12 ft, single fold, Gorilla Ladder. Not very compact…it stands 3 ft tall when collapsed and tips the scale at 50 lbs. So, I reached out to 2 different companies, offering to review their telescoping ladders. Each company sent me a ladder at no cost. This is my review and demo of the RecPro and Beetro telescoping ladders. We hope this video will help you understand telescoping ladders and also, help you make a decision about which model might work best for you. Y’all stay safe up there.
Before we go any further…It is very important to know your equipment and how to safely use it, so read all user guides and safety precautions before using. Check the description below for more info, as well as a list of the safety precautions included with each of these ladders.
Here’s a few safety notes applicable to these and most telescoping ladders.
Make sure the locking mechanisms are engaged before putting any weight on the rungs.
Make certain to extend from the bottom rungs first, for More Stability.
Extend and collapse the ladders by holding the side tubes, not the rungs.
…and do not use the ladder if it is damaged in any way.

Great instructions and overview on both ladders. We have a ladder similar to the RecPro ladder. I do like the BeeTro ladder but clearly it takes up more storage space. Thanks for sharing! Steve

Thanks for watching, Steve. How's your recovery coming along. That damn stint procedure is a pain. The hard part was laying flat on my back for 24 hours. Hope you're doing well and you have no more issues with your arteries....or ticker. Peace.

Thanks for watching, Jerry. Yep, the RecPro is much lighter and easier to stow away in the basement. RecPro had a bunch of great RV items...check 'em out. Peace!

Glad it was helpful, Leslie. I like the folding version, but it is a little heavier. But I don't have to lean it against the side of the rig. Thanks for watching...y'all take care and we'll see you down the road. Peace!

Great video Ricky - I also have a gorilla ladder that I relegated to home use. The extendable ladder works better for our needs. I learned to keep my fingers out of the way when collapsing the ladder. The second ladder you showed us looks very versatile although a little heavier. Thanks for sharing these two ladder options with us! Steve

Thanks, Steve. Yep, still nursing a bruised thumbnail from that sucker. I'll not make that mistake again. Appreciate you watching. Peace.

I was expecting to see you using these ladders to get onto the roof of your RV. I have a Little Giant, which I like but it's heavy, for me, and a little unwieldly for me when I have to extend it and put it up to my RV. Those with greater upper body strength wouldn't have a problem with that.

Hey, Laura. Thanks for watching. I actually had a Little Giant, as well. And, yes, it was heavy and hard to stow. Peace!

Please tell us why retracting each rung is better than a one touch ladder

Sorry, Swompy, I've never seen a one-touch ladder. I will have to check that out right away. Perhaps I can do a comparison video. Thanks for letting me know. Thanks for watching! Peace.
