@@ChanceMahonyStrahan should have been the first one this dude mentioned, Strahan was an outstanding football player, hearing other players in interviews that played against him said he was one of the strongest if not THEE strongest guy in the NFL, couldn't contain him one on one, he was one of those players
@@Gregory-sm9pfExactly. How the hell did they forget Strahan?!?!. Dont forget Justin Tuck and Osi, also. Pats were beyond star studded. Forget about Brady/Moss, you got Welker, Seymour, Bruschi, Seau, Harrison, Samuel..
That game was probably the happiest the Giants have been in a loss. It gave the Giants confidence because they stood toe to toe with one of the greatest teams ever assembled. It wasn't a blow out, it was a one possession game and they took the Pat's best shot because the Pats were highly motivated to secure that undefeated season. I think that boost of confidence from that week 17 game played a large factor in the outcome of SB 42.
Was that the game where it was snowing pretty good in Foxborough Massachusetts and the Pat's blew them out like 60 plus points to just 10 for the Titans?
Just googled it, the Pat's absolutely crushed them in a snow infested game by a score of 59 to 0, it was the largest margin of defeat by one team against another since the merger of the AFL and the NFL, read somewhere recently the people in charge of packing for the Titans away games didn't pack their cleats for bad weather game's, snow, rain, sleet, etc which prevented the players on both offense and defense from being able to get any kind of footing on the field, the defensive players couldn't get to the QB, the safeties couldn't cover the receivers while the Pat's on the other hand had the right cleats on for playing in the snow, game was over before the national anthem was even sung
