Seems like such a hard concept for people to grasp when it comes to traveling smh....if the ball is floating in your hands, you can do whatever with your feet until the pickup with both. This is what James harden has mastered and which makes him pretty much unguardable one on one

I see I’m not alone. It’s a shame how so many people think they can hoop and don’t this little known fact about live dribbles.

@sigma_z 4 года назад
It's just like when you're doing a fast break down court running really fast, the ball probably bounces once for every 3 or 4 running steps! All depends on how fast you're going. But it's definitely not a travel!

Same concept with Giannis going coast to coast in 3 dribbles because he throws the ball out in front of him...the game has changed for the better with the emphasis being on maximizing your footwork

No, that's called travelling. Ask Dr. Naismith.
@devvv4616

Not really needed to pick up with both hands. Once you're carrying the ball, or lifting it with your palms beneath the ball, it's considered picked up and you only have two steps. So you need to have your hand somewhere above or at least to the side of the ball as you take your extra steps.

When did people start calling this under drag? This was always known as a snatch back lol
@reemobrooklyn3557
@reemobrooklyn3557 4 года назад
A snatch back can be a multitude of things. If I stop and go behind the back I'm snatching it back. If I do a Shamgod I'm technically snatching it back. Same thing with a regular between the legs. So as a trainer you tell your client snatch back your client most likely going to be like "which one, which way" defining it makes it easier to communicate.

Just wondering, why do you still play in the kd 10’s? Now that the Kd 12’s are out and are amazing, just curious! Great tutorial by the way!

Well this sucks. I cant count how many times ive been called travelling violations and I didnt know that if it hangs you can move your feet as many times as possible. This hang move has been natural to me and it gives me this all around footwork but I barely use it anymore since people say its a travel. Now I know it isnt eyy.

I'm confused and will never understand why ppl watch basketball instructional videos, all these moves are basic. Just play basketball as much as you can and you're going to learn all these moves they're tryna teach you just off instincts alone.
