Good job explaining the different stages. I assumed it covered different areas but didn’t realize the range of options. Are all stages covered under factory and extended warranties?
Yup. And you can get a good deal on a 111. Good luck getting any decent pricing on a 116. Add stage 2 cams and you’re right up there with the 116 for less money
Notice when he was talking about horsepower difference between stage one and stage 2 he said stage 1 has made as maybe 10 horsepower more and stage 2 has 17% horsepower more.... Sooo what is 17% of 78HP? Well not shit for the price bob.
My takeaway- Indian is intentionally underpowering their 116 motors to sell a lot of performance parts to get them up to spec, then belittling 111 owners by telling them to take off the training wheels. Indian is just like Harley. But with a horrible reputation for actual support. Dont get me wrong, I love my Indian, but I am starting to see the pattern with american made bikes. I have owned Japanese sport bikes before and never saw this at all. The only issue with Japanese bikes, is that they are tunes horribly to meet californias stupid emissions and the bikes can do way better with a simple flash or dyno tune, the way they were made to be - before the libs made them screw them up.
@@furians601 really? Are you sure about that? I own an Indian. I work for indian. Not all indian parts are made in the USA. and some are made in Mexico. Just like Harley
