If you remember, in the original "Dont Wanna Cry" Minghao did a full flip in the air, but since he realized he wouldnt have enough time to land and stay in synch, he improvised and did a floor spin instead. He is quick thinking. Thanks for the reactions as always Jeff!

honestly i was so impressed with all but seventeen’s synchronization + that they still had a clear domino effect shows how well seventeen has their choreos learned. Also like u mentioned, still getting the details and their moves finished, it’s amazing

The reason why Seventeen and Astro is sweating already before they started to dance because before they are able to perform the 2x speed dance they have to pass the random play dance challege first.

Honestly whenever I hear people talk about 2x faster dances, I automatically think of seventeen for male groups and gfriend for girl groups. They're always so satisfying to watch even though I've seen them a million times. Jeff you should really watch gfriend on weekly idol when they do 2 or 3 consecutive 2x faster dances... Its amazing how they're able to do it 😱

From what I've heard, the 2x dances on Weekly Idol are actually 1.5x. obviously still difficult, but doable without dying from exhaustion. That's why a.c.e was literally dying when they did cactus because they were actually doing 2x. When they brought it down to 1.5x they killed it Edit: It sounds like the Ateez 2x dance was actually 2x speed also. I swear those boys impress me more and more everyday

I thunk SVT is actually doing 2x speed dance. The reason why Ateez dance looks faster than SVT is because their song is actually faster than DWC. DWC is a little slower than Say My Name in terms of BPM. So if you put that at 2x speed, DWC is still a little slower. Let's say, SMN is around 50BPM And DWC is around 40 BPM at their normal speed, so if you 2x that SMN would be at 100BPM while DWC is at 80BPM. So you'd see that SMN will still be faster than DWC either way.

Idk for DWC, but like RV, Gfriend, and other idols that appeared in WI during Doni and Coni as MC actually did 1.5x speed. DWC sounds like 2x but idk.

I've just check and tried to compares the weekly idol's 2x version and the choreography video with both 1.5x and 2x playback speed. It do seems that the weekly idol used the 1.5x or 1.75x speed rather than the original 2x speed. However to be fair to svt, they might actually hurts themselves doing an actual 2x with all the jumps and floorworks. Kudo to ace and ateez too tho who manage a 2x speed choreo 😂

Seventeen is amazing. I found A.C.E because they covered a SVT song and within 20 seconds I could see that they had the same synchronization and attention to detail. Fun fact. A.C.E did this 2X version with the original choreography which has them kneeling a lot more. They’ve since changed it a small bit to be kinder to the knees.

It doesn't matter how much I watch SVT's 2x Speed video of DWC, it always amazes me. The fact that they could keep doing the little detaills of the choreo and finish the moves, plus all 13 of them still very synchronized it's really unbelievable, but they did! That really shows their teamkwork

It's impossible to do Ateez 2x speed ver..I mean, look at the original that have been fast forwarded below especially for the second chorus..it's beyond human limits and the choreography is continuous without break makes me *sweating Especially 8:44 and 9:14

From what I know, during that time in Weekly Idol they used 1.5x speed instead of actual 2x, so the only ones who actually did it 2x are ace and ateez. It's still impressive at 1.5x speed though

I cry everytime I watch SEVENTEEN's 2x speed because it is just SO impressive in every. single. way. I was also really impressed with the other three groups because I hadn't seen those videos yet !!! They're also really talented - ATEEZ really had me holding my breath because that choreo is deadly as is, and then they pulled it off at double speed really well anyway 😭❤

Yes, Seventeen is the king of Synchronize. But u can see Ateez's song already fast beat/tempo with their choreo and really literally almost have no rest from the movements, but their still hold up and do perfectly even tho their choreo is insane for 2x speed dance

Honestly even as someone who’s not a seventeen fan you can’t knock just how unreal and amazing they are. Idk any other group with that many members who manage to stay THAT in sync with each other even at 2x speed. I constantly find myself watching their dance practice videos and don’t wanna cry is still probably my favorite to this day due to all the different textures they managed to do and pull out from that choreo. That hand vibrating/shaking isolation move is so hard to do without also shaking your whole body and they managed to all do it even at 2x and I just can’t TT

Woah! I don't think I've watched that ASTRO Baby x2 yet. 😲 Even tho a lot of comments says Weekly Idol ones are only 1.5/1.75 it's still no joke coz that song of them had already a fast choreo, not to mention they had to play random dance before that. They never to amaze me with those 'i-can't-count' foot and hand work, those was so hard to execute even in their normal speed. 😩 Also, other group did an amazing job. I love Ateez ones tho! 👏 But I'm solely belong to AROHA fandom!

Seeing a lot of comment about SVT, I mean yeah, they were awesome! But I wanna give some love to ACE and ATEEZ, because damm son. I was so worried about Cactu's dance break, because it's so in sync and fast already. But our boys pulled it off(and my wig). And of course ATEEZ. Say My Name is already a semi-difficult choreo, but ATEEZ is known for their stage performances. They pulled of SMN so well, like wow!

All the weekly idol 2x speed dances are actually 1.5x and not 2x, since I'm guessing that is pretty difficult. But the 2x speed that ACE (and ATEEZ) did was actually 2x so that was actually impressive!! (u could see they were also going to do 1.5x)

Thanks for reacting to these--I've always loved Don't Wanna Cry at 2x speed. The variety shows also do variable speed and random dance challenges. In Let's Dance/know-the-beat the song changes out, but the group has to keep dancing to their original song in the correct time while carrying out a separate challenge (it cuts back to the original now and then to make sure they're where they should be in the choreo).
