“Seamless” is a great word for Astro’s choreo! I love how they move through space and between formations incredibly smoothly!

They’re so synchronized that they won the GOLD MEDAL for the ISAC (Idol Sports Athletic Championship) aerobics dance competitions for two conservative years (2017 - inspired by pirates of the Carribean & 2018 - inspired by Elvie Presley). They’re super good.

Another reason I have so much respect for Astro is because they were given the CUTEST, CHEESIEST concept to start off with, and a lot of male groups would have shy'd away from it, or not done it 100%, but they went full fucking steam, and even though the songs were really cheesy and cutesy, the choreography was ALWAYS bomb and super difficult, and they nailed the acting and choreo every damn time they performed or made a video. They took their craft really seriously and even cute concepts (which I don't like) became enjoyable to watch and you were left going "WOW'. This group is so damn talented. I'm so glad that they're getting to do "sexier" and more "serious" stuff now. Astro forever man.

I am imagining the day Jeff sees their "All Night" dance/MV... I still feel like I haven't recovered from that. 0:39 - and yet, today, baby Sanha is taller than Moonbin hahahah

It's the drinks that are iconic "sodadols", "ciderdols" were some nick names given to Astro and the colours and symbols on the bottles represent a little of their indivdual character. You rewatching their last sequence over and over again because of their syncronisation is a mood. Thank you for your comments on their posture and how it contrasts with how light they stay on their feets. Another dance practice from them where they are just as smooth and sharp is 'again', if you have time you should definitly check it out! Thank you for your reactions, its really nice that you point out all their influences like ballet and why certain moves might be hard even if they don't look that way watching the first time. Another group i like to watch because of their syncronisation is iz*one, their songs 'violeta' and 'la vie en rose' have really beautiful imagery, especially with all 12 members.

Srsly Rocky is one of the best ballet dancers in kpop. Him and moonbin are an amazing duo. I love focusing on them while watching dance practises. But all of them are really good dancers I love them❤.

Baby was actually my most favorite song of Astro since 2017 when I started stanning them (alongside with Hide and Seek, please do check it out lol it's a really good dance with a good foot work). They're really underrated but their dances are really synchronized too. I do also recommend Breathless, Should've Held On and Crazy, Sexy, Cool too hehe. Should've Held On doesn't have an M/V though cause as far as I remember it was considered as a "gift"?

ASTRO has always been dancing to a very complicated choreography since debut. their title tracks maybe cutesy and youthful at first, but never underestimate the difficulty level of their choreography. you should definitely check every single one of their songs! they are very very veryyy satistfying to watch. yes, they have their point choreo every dance hahaha. for "baby" that's the bye bye thing you pointed out (arm stretched up while doing the goodbye hand gesture) HAHA. another example is for "knock", the two hands i closed fist on top of your head doing the banging the door gesture. 😛😛😛 thank you for reacting to ASTRO. please react more to them! they are amazing!

Astro really had a smooth transition towards darker sexier concepts. Their first song Hide&Seek is the cutest summer bop you could ever listen to (you should really check it out as a good way to see how much they've grown). They already had beautiful songs at the time like Again (an all time favorite of mine who doesn't have an MV but has an amazing choreo and dance practice) but I'll say the first step toward change started with Crazy Sexy Cool, it's like the first song that was more like a middle ground between their super cute concept and the oh okay they're growing up feel. All Night is their first real grown up, sexy concept that also has a bit of a sadder vibe. I'll love if you reacted to any of these, I'm glad you're liking them, they really deserve all the love 💜

i love astro’s concept because again, like you said, they’re very good and kinda “masculine” looking but most of their songs are still very soft and cute, which is so unique in my opinion. their personalities are also SOSO nice

Rocky is a spinning genius haha, hope you continue reacting to ASTRO! Also, if you really love syncranisation, would recommend checking out a girlgroup called GFriend who are known very well for it. Especially during their first few title tracks with dance practices like Glass Bead, Me Gustas Tu, and Rough and more recently Time for the Moon Night which has an excellent starting formation.

It’s very satisfying to watch Rocky dance

If we talk about astro's choreographies, it's looks like a simple-not hard choreo. But if we look the details and tried to dance to it, or copy it, it's really really hard. They put so much details to the choreo. Just like you said about their synchronization, their light footsteps, that's really hard to copy. And they have so much look like ballet move is because Rocky who made most of their choreo has ballet background. And about their iconic movement, I think it's their jump(?). If you look at all of their choreos, you'll know that they always have that jump

Biggest recommendation: AGAIN, ALL NIGHT, AND ROCKY SOLO DANCE!!!

10:54 actually, before astro debut they always performing and went on survival kind of shows-and it always been that "sexy" and "dark" performances ~ so us arohas are also shocked when they debut with such cute concept different than their pre-debut era 🤣🤣🤣

Choosing based on views is not a bad thing, but in many cases, it's heavily impacted by time; Baby has been out for several years and has racked up more views as a result. If you're interested to get more into a group, it could be cool to start w/ a recommended video from subscribers or the most recent, and then go back to the beginning and work your way back to the present--it'd be interesting to see how each individual group evolves. Also, following Crazy, Sexy, Cool---which hinted to their imminent growth, combining suave and playful sounds and visuals---Astro's move to a more mature sound started with Always You, an emotional, reactionary if you will, commentary on their situation as a group in the wake of a serious event that wracked their company, Fantagio; it was unclear whether they would ever comeback, disbandment hanging overhead for quite a long time. From that point on, they've adopted a more mature, sometimes sexy, sometimes powerful, sometimes lyrical, but always thoughtful style that I think really suits them! Also... MJ is really freaking loud lol. Singing. Talking. Screaming. The boy is loud as fuck. So yeah, that belt is very naturally piercing haha.

baby is one of my all time favorite choreographies! astro always has some of the best dances! they are so technically interesting & i love that they have such a refreshing style to them

Eunwoo and Sanha grew a lot since this, Sanha is taller than Moonbin now, and Eunwoo is only slightly shorter than him now, but like you pointed out, it isn't super obvious when they dance, they are very good about thinking out how to keep their levels while coming up with choreo so that it doesn't look awkward.

i love rocky's dancing so much 😍 and i feel like astro have a fairly unique dance style relative to other kpop groups, which i really like! i'm pretty sure they started changing up the concepts almost immediately after the maknae became an adult, but he and rocky were pretty young when they debuted (like sanha wasn't even 16, iirc)

rocky is my bias in astro but he's a pretty underrated dancer bc astro tends to have easier choreos (and he's also almost always in the back in formations.) based on his dancing style, it could look like he's overdancing. rocky's been dancing since he was really young and took ballet and hip hop (and i think tap as well). he was on korea's got talent when he was 12 and was already such a great dancer by then. im glad fantagio allowed all of the boys to perform covers of songs from other artists in their previous years :)

ASTRO has been known with their cute concept and all night is their start of sexy concept but with the latest release Gateway album, they brought cute concept again for bside to be performed alongside with Knock. Astro first debuted with a cute concept first because they were young and fitted the concept but i think also because when they debuted they were the only BOY group doing a cute concept so they were very different from all the group who debuted at the same time as them, which was really smart. They started only recently to mature their concept because the youngest has grown too. The only other group i remember doing cute concept at that time was NCT Dream

This Content actually is Jeff being a Fan of ASTRO especially Eunwoo for 17mins😊 I know How you feel. Aroha loves everything about Astro they are full of talents as in each of them have multiple talents and handsome looks😍 Dancing Machines, they can even dance baby in double speed. Try watching it Jeff for my recommendation😊

Rocky Moonbin and JinJin are the dance line. Rocky trained in ballet, modern, tap, and hip hop starting from around 7(?) years old. Moonbin has technically been an idol trainee since around 6-7 i believe (please correct me on ages i'm just trying to guess from what i remember of predebut videos) so he's learned MANY forms of dance. JinJin made it into ny dance academy at the top of his class and was a part of underground house dancing crews. Their dance line combines all their knowlage to help with choreography which it what makes it so unique in my eyes.

If you look at rocky in this dance practice you can actually see he took ballet for parts of this choreo he does the moves so well and is the only one in the turns that keeps his leg up like a ballerina.

Astro, Seventeen and SHINee are maybe the most synchronized groups out there, even when each member have their own style and color, it's insane! But I think that showcase the excellent team work in the group. Please, react to more Astro (and 17 and SHINee too please T T)!

LOL Funfact- During Baby Era half of them weren't even 20!!! They were really young actually!! That's why astro went on with the cute stuff a lot until sanha turned 20 and as soon as he was an adult they began doing mature stuffs!! Like All nigh, blue flame, one etc!!!
