I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

Ahh my Aroha heart is crying because I became an Aroha during CSC era (even though the song that really got me was Innocent Love lmao). the complexity of their choreography on a feel good music makes them unique. haha. when i first watched astro, i always wonder why do they dance as if it was that easy to execute when in reality there are so many details to learn each part of the choreo. haha. i would suggest please check out their 2016 songs too. they debuted with youthful, refreshing and cute concept -- music and style. but choreography wise, those are hard ones too. hahaha. (like what you said -- there are so many things going on) but the good thing is, they are still very pleasing to watch. :)

ASTRO is certainly one of the groups that has the most dynamic choreography! I particularly love everything about that era; it marked the growth of the boys and their transition from the cute concept very well for something more mature! And in a particular way too, for me, Hoshi and Rocky are the best choreographers of this generation. It is completely satisfying to see them dancing or creating something for the group.

OMG you should check out their earlier songs "Hide&Seek" "Breathless" especially "Confession". The choreo is super hard but people underestimate it bcs the concept is cute. I nagged Jeff about Jin Jin and Rocky in his first reaction and then waited tictictic. Why can't he see??? When Rocky's just standing his posture says DANCER. Jin Jin walks and it says HIP HOP. But Jeff was smitten with the tol boys. MJ's been mentioned twice for dance, 1 a mistake, but he'd be pleased. Got so excited when Jeff said "Yes Jin Jin" in Blue Flame Ot6 DP. We live on crumbs, but from the best loaf.

Similar to how you checked out all of Lisa “lili films” Rocky has something similar, his “Y.Y.Y.” series (I think there are 3 videos). You can really see how gifted and talented he is as a dancer. Pls pls pls check it out. Would love to see your input!!!

Yes the b-boy was Jinjin haha He actually has a history in House dance, you can find vids of him from competitions he did (and won) predebut! He doesnt get as much credit for dance, but he is on dance line. In fact when he auditioned for the Hanlim school of arts, he got in with the highest score

Astro’s choreography is one I always look forward so I love their dance practices. I love how you notice details in their choreo. I appreciate that because, I agree, they may be looked over because they make it look effortless

The best dancers of each group really influence the rest of the group, and Rocky's influence is so strong in Astro. His classical training, lightness and ease of movement have rubbed off on everyone else and it's so awesome to watch. And then you have Moonbin whose just a BEAST. I'm so glad you found them and their dancing!

Never fails to amuse me XD Also if ever there's a reaction video for Astro-Always you, P.S. it's a really sad song. The lyrics saying 'I miss you' and it's 'Always been you, was a message Astro wants Arohas to know. Because at that time, Astro took a very long time that some of the fans left :(( One very big points for Astro is that they really and sincerely love Arohas. Next up, INFINITE! You *must* react to them Jeff. They are the og synchronized group. The Eye Bad The Chaser are my faves. I recommend you watch The Eye first. The choreo is beautiful and there are several dance breaks. Pretty pretty please 🙏 You will recognize Hoya since he was on Hit the Stage.

There is no official dance practice for "Confession" but you can check out the choreo fancams in music shows. Its a bright concept but the choreo is super hard and many things are happening really fast. Hope you check it out. Btw, love ur reactions. Thank you Jeff! 💜💜💜

I enjoy watching you slowly learn how to pronounce korean names properly, it’s cute and nice to see you’re taking the time to learn. Next thing we know, in a few months you’ll be like “btw I can read hangul now” lol happened to me. It’s also really easy to learn how to read. I taught it to my brother in about 3 hours. Bet you could learn it so easy, since you have really good memory (you learn member names hella fast) so, I would encourage you to learn how to read it (: it would help a lot with your videos I bet

I love watching you react to Astro's songs/choreography/music videos. 😊 I'm really happy that there are people out there who are admiring their talent and giving them the attention they deserve. If you like synchronized dance groups, then you should definitely check out Infinite! 2nd generation Kpop groups don't get nearly as much attention and love as they deserve nowadays, and Infinite are definitely the kings of synchronized dance. That's what they're famous for, and I believe that they're considered to be the most synchronized group in the Kpop industry. 😄

I get it when you said that Moon Bin has a different kind of style when dancing. I tried to watch a particular dance practice of them and keep on repeating it focusing on different members. And yes, they have different styles but they moved and dance like one. I hope you get what I mean. 😁
