Fun fact：the ending pose of pretty U is the starting pose of Very Nice. Very Nice is seventeen‘s the most famous song in South Korea. Some of the baseball team use the song to celebrate when they get score.

Pretty U is sort of a continuation of their 'trilogy' from Adore U -> Mansae -> Pretty U, it's not official or anything but they did mention that this carried on the same themes before culminating in Boom Boom and then their switch to the more 'mature' Don't Wanna Cry era. It's imo one of their most creative choreos ever, and I love this (and Oh My!) a lot. This was such a nostalgic era with their first win and they truly showed their potential with their large group and innovative choreo-making abilities. + the fact that they incorporated Korean sign language for 'pretty' is so heartwarming. Freshteen are amazing!

I've been waiting for this Jeff. This song is so special for me. Aside from Don't Wanna Cry this really made me a CARAT especially when I saw their emotional first win. Seungkwan's voice here is outstanding. This song never gets old, I'm still playing it until today because it is so refreshing. When I saw you react on this...I'm just so happy. Thank you. When you said "this is like high school musical but way better"...my heart just thump like crazy because this is really what I feel when I first heard this song...it made me fall in love(to SEVENTEEN). **Pretty U is the title track of Love and Letter which is their first Full Album. VERY NICE is the title track of the repackage version of this Album(I'll wait 'til you react on their Hype AJU NICE)

gosh pretty u was my frist comeback with seventeen as a carat, it was soo memorable since they achieved soo much with pretty u~ with seungkwan's high note in live performances, he did strain quite a few times, and it was quite unhealthy and i remembering being really worried for his voice

Fun Facts: -when they filmed the MV for this, the choreography wasn't finalized yet that's why you don't see any bit of choreo in it - the couch choreography was thought of hoshi while he was in a cafe crossing and uncrossing his legs lol - the ending pose for the Pretty U choreography is the beginning pose for the Very Nice choreography - this song got them their very first music show win - this wasn't supposed to be their title track for this comeback thank you for this Jeff!
