I really like your reviews, they are different, even if you talk about chemical compounds most of us have no clue what they are and we can't call you out on them, your reviews are a pleasure to watch.
The original scent was marketed as a summer scent. But this stronger version sorta falls out of that category. I couldn't quite place it until you said its more mature, more professional 30+, sort of office scent. That's perfect! And that's exactly when I wear it. At the office and in very professional settings when I am going to be around VIPs and such. You nailed it! Thank You!
Wow! You really know those chemistry things I see. I've never heard any reviewers talk so passionately and profoundly about effects of synthetics and naturals. Overally interesting take on materials, very deep.
I love how you say, ‘Smells like TF’. Estée Lauder for decades tried to establish a high end line. If you’ve tried Amber Mystique, you can smell Oud Fleur, even the sprayer to Amber and Wood Mystique are identical to the private blends line.

Best tom ford has to offer, It's a smell that reminds you of a place. Hence the name ofcourse. It's my nr1 for summer because it's so complex and theres nothing that compares with how complete and fresh this is. vacation at a beach in france, that's how it smells. It tends to have a short sillage but when you work out or sweat the sillage becomes huge as does the projection.
Great review as always Aaron! But I would like to ask a question that a lot of us are having, or at least in the back of our minds. If you, yourself would create this exact same perfume, or any kind of well established perfume, like Sauvage or something, and put it on the market the way you do now and not the Tom Ford way (big brand name, commercials and what not) , how much would you sell it for?
Great review, as always! I love the original Costa Azzurra, it's one of my favourite fragrances of all time, as a matter of fact. This parfum version, smells a little "screechy" to me. It's missing some of the depth, that the original version has/had. It's a 4 out of 6.
All of its versions are solid. Such a clean masculine scent. Easy to wear and easy to dress up and down. No longevity issues on my skin have all three versions, have to say the PB is the most interesting
I love how it’s not too sweet and reminds me of the outside with the lemon and I think it’ll be great for some beach or vacation vibes with linen shirts. 30 plus idk maybe late 20s for me and guys with beards

Aaron your channel is amazing but I’d love to see your thoughts on fragrances based on wearing. Your reviews on your own channel and others are all about first impressions/openings, but we never get thoughts on the drydown/longevity/projection from you other than estimates of how long you think it would last. And an amazing fragrance that fades in minutes isn’t really worth it’s salt. I’d love to see more post-wear reviews from you
I actually preferred it when it was in the Privee collection. I found the formula used in this, “longer”. It broke down over longer periods of time before it ended at its end result. Whilst the signature one breaks very quickly into the mid layer.
Hey Aaron!! I have been struggling with the whole m7 ysl thing ...from old formulations to the new ones...and since it is a Tom Ford original scent, i think you could do a nice segment of this emblematic fragrance through the years if you get your hands on some different interpretations of M7....it's just a scent that intrigues me ...i don't know!!!somme times i love it, other times i think it lacks the oriental sweetness....i layer it with TM noir extreme edp to give it a sweet feel sometimes and it absolute works ....for me of course...
Is it me or does cologne smell better after about a week or 2? Recently bought Givenchy Pi about 8 days ago. Sprayed it on, didn't really like it. Then I sprayed it again today and it smells WAAAY better.
I was wondering how often you get your hair cut, because the fade on the side always seems so short and clean. But on Chris`s channel it was more grown out, like 2 weeks. So do you film a bunch of these videos all at once, shortly after each haircut? Or how does that work?

I would bet SIDE EFFECT by Initio might be the one he would pick for the one he bought. I've only seen him give 2 frags a 10/10 and that's was one of them but I can't for the life of me remember the other one. You should watch his review on Side Effect, just watching his facial expressions said it all it's like it put him in a trance and again you never see ATH do that much at all! SE is a damn good fragrance though!
Why would the price double if you included more musks? From what I've heard, perfume ingredients are not that expensive to double the price of a scent on their own.

I found this fragrance to be rather comforting don't know why, I never knew my dad but it reminded me of something from my childhood. Price is decent too, a good chunk out of your wallet but not overpriced.
Never liked this even when it was in the Private Blend line. A horrific mash-up of vintage bottles of Calvin Klein Eternity and Aramis New West. Both of which are superior fragrances.
I dont know what does people smell here. I made a spontaneous blind buy and I really can’t stand it. For me it smells like a cheap bath cleaner, it reminds me of the smell of French public toilets, really. I’m really disappointed, can’t imagine that some reviews connect this smell to Italy, to ocean and holidays….
