i’m glad you spoke honestly here. i blind-bought a full bottle and liked it the first wear, but the next three i decided there was just something i couldn’t put my finger on that made it honestly kind of gross to wear. i ended up selling the bottle because i couldn’t get over that one weird note. not a bad fragrance, probably just not right with my chemistry
Gotta agree with Mr. Hughes on this one. There is something in it that doesn't quite sit right. It's like a musical note that is being played off-key. Great review as always!

Just got it 3 days ago, the dry down is to die for imo. You will not really smell it on yourself that much (your nose will get used to it really quick) but other people will, i already got complimented on it at my workplace. Really liking it tbh

I'm hoping they'll release the Le Beau Paradise Garden to the USA eventually. 6:50 Glad you did this review. It's not for everyone... and less is definitely more*. 1 shot on my arm and was sniffing along to learn what you're picking up. I couldn't pinpoint certain aspects until you noted it. After "picking up what you're laying down" I'm with you on the peppermint, etc. It's a very soft, sugary, suntan lotion fluffiness... but it gets better on the long-term drydown. *That 1 spray I did on my forearm is hardcore projecting. I've been hitting myself with 10 shots when I wore it this past summer. Won't be doing THAT anymore. Poor people around me! This is a "3 spray for the day".
I bought this last year in January, and it's the best and my favourite fragrance I've ever had! It's very coconuty qnd smooth, the sillage is brilliant too!
Welp I just learned about calone, your description of the smell pretty much explained why I hate most 'blue' fragrances and don't love this. It's also so unrelentingly strong. Le beau le parfum was stuck on my skin for 4 days and 6 showers when I tested it. Seriously not for me. I want to see the return of older style fougeres slightly modernized. THAT is what I want when it's not cold.
I also thought it smelled supper weird up close on the skin and never understood why it got more popular than the og le beau. Thank you for not making me seem crazy cause the scent is extremely popular 😂
100% agree. I wanted to love it. There's a lot about it that I like, but there's that off putting quality to it and ruins it for me. Maybe they will reformulate it later.
I have 2 others that le beau reminded me of …. Zanzibar by Lataffa and Yours “Ozone” It was fun to try all three .. Zanzibar had the most alluring scent to me, while ozone had a more transaprent and dimensional quality, while Le Beau was the most dense and kind of just 2 dimensional.. that’s not a bad thing, but it’s not the most memorable.
I appreciate this , you review frags I honestly would never buy. On the other hand.. I just received oud noir … and I Love it. I am curious to know, how do you get your fragrances to all be of such high quality and make them all smell different? Because oud has an entirely different fragrance all together. It is. Not a flanker by any means.
It’s ok I’ve had this one for a few years since I came out. The hype was real when it dropped and was only available in Europe now it’s widely available, only had the 75ml cause that’s all I could get but it’s a creamy coconut iris fragrance with woods in the dry down more for night out wearings
I bought this one last spring last year. I enjoyed wearing it for a while but it feels too youthful for me. Performance is nuclear ☢️ and it has a unique scent profile. If you are over 40 it may not fit.
the Le male dna is used in almost very JPG unfortunately this makes most of them smell slightly similar to eachother the notes are mint, lavender, tonka bean (and sometimes vanilla)
I have the EDT. Other reviewers have said the same thing about the EDP, that there is something off putting in the EDP. I’d be curious how you compare the two. I love the EDT. Juicy fruity and fresh. Nothing off putting.
I love “Le Beau” Eau de Toilette but much less the Eau de Parfum. Something is bothering me. I don't really like Calone, that's why I don't like the "Divine" perfume either. So now I'm wondering if that's what's bothering me about the EDP.
"something a little off" is how I would describe my experience with Le Beau EDT. It was nice, a little citrusy, a little coconutty, a little sweet, but something was sort of "off", like a little sour or chemically, about it the whole time. I was hoping that the Le Parfum would address this but it sounds like it's still present which is unfortunate. Will probably try it out anyways- BUT- your review is appreciated as always. For a sweet, clean perfume I've already really got 1 Million Royal, which I really actually quite like. If I want a sort of coconutty, slightly fruity perfume I've got Cloud from Ariana Grande. Doesn't slot into my collection specifically but I'm sure it's great because it wouldn't be so popular otherwise haha Your scandalized reaction to the description is everything hahaha

Out of all the big and popular houses, JPG is perhaps the one I dislike the most. I haven't found one single male fragrance of theirs that I like. They either seem disjointed and awkward and/or straight up disgusting for me. I've tried like 5-6 Le Males and 2 Scandals, I had to scrub off all the Le Males, and I couldn't wait for the Scandals to wear off. This house is just not for me, I guess. The second is YSL, their most popular scents are just incredibly boring, soulless to my nose. Kouros is 🔥🔥🔥 though!
your nose is equal to mine, there´s something in this one that i don´t like very much specially in the opening, for me le beau edt and paradise garden are the best ones
Quentin Bisch is so hyped nowadays, but I have honestly disliked most his stuff I have tried. Seems to really appeal to those young guys who want BEAST MODE! projection and performance. But to me they are just tacky and over the top. I absolutely hate sitting in a train or elevator next to someone who is wearing like ten sprays of this.
I personally LoVe JPG but Le Beau does not vibe with me unfortunately. New Le Beau 💚 Essence of Garden is much better in my humble opinion. My favourite JPG will always be Le Male Le Parfum or Le Male Essence of Parfume ♂️
