Hi Chris, I really enjoyed your video. I work as a nurse in Scent Free work place. So what I do is spraying one spray in the chest in the morning. I work afternoons. So, I just smell myself and nobody ever complained. I wear more musky, woody and floral perfumes. Lately I use Gucci pour femme, BDK Velvet Tonka, Prada d'Iris, Bvlgari Petit et mammas, Bois d'Iris, Hermes Eau Des Mervailles or Bottega Venetta sadly discontinued. I found niche perfumes projecting way too much for my work place and lingers for longer. I also use scented lotions after shower, but in moderation.

I work in health care as well - I find that most of my Byredo fragrances work great in this setting. Mojave Ghost in particular. Nirvana White by Elizabeth and James and Pure Musc for Her by Narciso Rodriguez are also some great ones that are neutral/inoffensive, universally liked, and never fail to give me compliments. On a higher budget, Another 13, Gabrielle Essence, Dama Bianca, Gris Charnel and Aqua Vitae Forte also work great in a professional setting.

I have so many of these in sample size. Just yesterday I tested the Une Nuit Nomade discovery set and one of my top favorite was nothing but sea and sky! I have FB’s of Apolonia and Champaca which I love. Would love to see a part 2 because I am always in the hunt for this type of scent. Thank you for this very needed video.

First of all, I just adore all of your content and expertise. Thank you for sharing with us. I love Molecule 01 on it's own or layered and when I think it's not there, it sneaks up and surprises me with the best clean air. Byredo Bal d'afrique, Queening (so good), Etat Libre D'Orange You or Someone Like You Eau De Parfum, Ormonde Jayne Champaca, Mizensir For Your Love, Xerjoff Ivory Route and Floral Street Arizona Bloom are a few and dependent on the season. I'm definitely going to add Trajan to the mix this week.

I smelled BR 540 on a flight attendant on a recent flight. I didn’t ask her but I knew, and I loved it. Soft but best Sillage. I’ve never had anyone blow me out with their scent on a trip. But I could see that.

I do also work in an office setting. I love to wear scents, but don’t want to infringe upon anyone. My office go-to’s are: Tender Light by Estée Lauder, Dolce and Gabbana pour femme (beautiful orange blossom), Laura Mercier Vanille (soft, not gourmand) , Folle de Joie by Joie, Prada d’Iris, Cerruti Image (soft aromatic), Tocca Florence, Mon Guerlain EDT, Penhaligons Juniper Sling, Chanel Chance edt, Creed Sublime Vanille, Elizabeth and James French Grey (so overlooked, love it) and also Nirvana White. Ta’if and Champaca by Ormonde James are also safe grabs. I will certainly be trying some of your suggestions, Chris! Ty for another great list!

Hi Chris! Love the video...I work from home so I perfume myself very liberally..only my dogs would complain. LOL. However, when I have work events or business lunches I think about what I wear. My list : Mont Blanc - Signature (becomes an intimate scent after about 90 mins. I love the clementine note that stays throughout and I find this so softly feminine). Carner Barcelona- Tardes (soft and I find this also intimate) Lastly, Arquiste, the Architects Club (small scent bubble - beautiful non offensive). From your list I want to try Loubirouge, (this sounds heavenly) and Off White - Solution No.2 (I love tangerine and ginger). Have a great day!

Hi! Architects Club almost made the list and is one of my fav perfumes in all my collection. I adore it and it’s a great work scent I agree! Also for parties and even dinner because it’s not very strong. ❤️❤️❤️❤️Loubirouge is gorgeous! If you love tangerine and ginger you would almost certainly love Solution #2 as long as you like a nice clean orange blossom. ❤️

I’m loving softer fragrances which is rather surprising to me 😍😍. I do have an Off White Solution forgot the number but it also fits into this category 😍😍. Nothing But Sea & Sky is also lovely😍😍. I was introduced to Petit Matin at the beginning of the year and I was actually shocked at how much I loved it😳😳. I also think L’eau Papier and Philosykos also fits into this category👌👌. I adore Queening, Tres Chere, Bois d'Iris, Nothing but Sea and Sky and so many others. I love Sakura by Christian Dior for work, also Clean Reserve fragrances, Cheeky Smile by Jusbox, and many Jo Malone fragrances. I used to be a fragrance buyer for Nordstrom in California, and they carry Jo Malone and Byredo. I must own every one of their fragrances. I love Biblioteque by Byredo, also Gypsy Water. Love the topic and find your considerate approach to others heartwarming❤ I used to be sensitive to smell due to migraines for years and could only wear subtle perfumes. I also used to work in a school for allergic children and had to be careful even in my time off so nothing would follow me back in hair or clothes after a wash. Still tend to wear these kind of fragrances not to be a nuisance to others or ruin someone’s day. Got intrigued by your suggestions and there are a few I’d like to try!🤩 Especially molecule 04. Molecule 01 has been my signature for years and Armani’s Pivoine Suzhou might also be suitable for this list (or the underrated, more affordable, “smell-alike” Bright Crystal edt). Could also add Miss Dior blooming bouquet (old formula).She stays close and is well rounded, soft and airly unobtrusive.😊

@@donnadrane4977 oh wow I’m sorry to hear. I don’t have an issue with it’s longevity but I’d say try putting a neutral oil on before spraying. And if you live in a climate that make oils uncomfortable then just place the oils on your pulse points and spray directly on those areas and see if it helps.

Yes, the HC setting can be tricky. I love wearing Sonic Flower, Yin Transformation, Musk Therapy, Tilia, and Loewe 01 EDP are my favorites, among other light and airy ones. If my coworkers say my fragrance is strong, I won't wear it anymore. Since I am at work M-F, I am always looking to light and airy and will explore the ones you have mentioned.🎉🎉

Was excited when I saw the topic for this video. Fragrance is the only way I can dress up for work since my attire is scrubs everyday. Chris I still want to know the names of the ones that weren't mentioned, the ones you left off. Mine would be Sand+Fog Sandalwood Violet (smells similar to Mojave Ghost) wears close to the skin since it’s an oil; pinrose pillow talk poet, Nemat white musk or Amber (some people smell it more strongly so I would use a lot), the oil perfumery version on Byredo Blanche (a tiny bit), and 1 spray max of Clean reserve Skin or Sueded Oud, or Sparkling Sugar (2 sprays for this one). 1 spray max of l’eau papier - Diptyque or thé oil perfumery version of it. Thé matcha by Solinotes. finery before the rainbow (similar to wood sage and sea salt) Figue forêt by le monde gourmand. Glossier you or sonic flower room 1015. The important would be to spray only once or twice, on the inside of my shirt.

Of course I live in Missouri. We were back in person (businesses and schools , gyms very quickly during the pandemic unlike states on the coasts . ) i imagine our hospital rules might be more relaxed as well. The only thing that is an absolute no no in our hospital are acrylic nails (rightfully so as they are basically a Petri dish of muck and filth).

@@ThePerfumeNest yes, I know Marcie. She’s in LA and I’m in SF so I’ve asked her about that. It really surprised me because every hospital I’ve been at in NorCal is strictly no fragrance. It can really bother patients. Some have breathing problems, some nausea after surgery etc and can cause real problems, let alone coworkers that don’t like perfume. She has told me she wears everything to her hospital.

Nurse here! And I know I shouldn’t, but I LOVE perfume and smelling good, so I have to wear a little something! And most of my patients and coworkers compliment me all the time. I think soft scent is comforting to my patients And coworkers. They feel “cacooned” or cared for or something😊. I usually wear Philosophy Pure Grace lotion, or an unscented lotion, then over those I will wear the Pure Grace EDP, or Phlur Missing Person, or Clean Reserve Clean skin or Acqua Neroli. Oh! And Byredo Blanche is also so good and complimented at work. I also teach, and on those days, I wear businesses casual, so I wear Chanel Chance Eau Tedre to feel a little “fancier.” Sometimes I’ll even spray my scent into my unscented lotion and slather that on so when I sweat, I smell good! 😆

About Slogan by Courrèges. It has a heavy dose of ambroxan. I advise to avoid perfumes with lots of ambroxan if you have sensitive colleagues. Ambroxan induces migraines and nausea in sensitive people. Talking from experience... And especially Courrèges perfumes contain lots of ambroxan.

That’s the reason a hate to sell Malibu Party in the Bay. For two years I loved it, then this year it made me sick (the ambroxan). I must have gotten a virus or cold and not known it because I haven’t been sick in 4 years but I DEF have an aversion to ambroxan in certain (but not all) perfumes. ❤️
