I am also 49 with perimenopause symptoms and I recently came across Dr. Mary Claire Haver. I just ordered her new book The New Menopause and can't wait to learn more. She also has a book - The Galveston Diet that promotes a lifestyle/way of eating for hormone balance.

I'm 56. I have been going through perimenopause. I have about 21 of the symptoms. Having two periods a month. I'm just done with this perimenopause. Hate it. Good luck everyone.

Thank you for sharing. I just started binge watching this information. I was so scared to even admit this is happening. 😢

Me too. I thought that I’m still getting periods so I must be in the clear, but little did I know I’ve probably been in the throes of perimenopause for a few years. The idea of getting ahead of it with HRT makes me feel a little bit better about it all. I’m also glad we’re at a time where we don’t have to suffer as badly the women before us 😢

I am having the exact same symptoms as you are, especially the sleep, it’s horrible and debilitating unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. I too am in my 40’s and this started on me in my 30’s especially after my first pregnancy at 33. I too still have periods some are light others heavier, I also experienced night sweats and palpitations. 😢

I may suggest watching some videos from Dr. Mindy Pelz here on youtube. She talks about helping women like us with peri and full blown. She speaks a ton about fasting and how it helps with our hormones etc. She talks about our sex hormones and how fasting and our diet can help. She also has a very popular book out called Fast like a Girl. Just something to check out!

I am going through the same issues. I decided on pellets! Also, for sleep I bought a progesterone cream and it was life changing.

Please check out Dr Mary Claire Haver and Louise Newson - they are both leading experts in peri and have amazing advice. Your symptoms sound exactly like peri. I started at 37 when my anxiety went off the charts. HRT has helped alot.

I suggest you do your own research on the Women's Health Initiative Study. It was a completely flawed study showing high levels of cancer associated with women on HRT when, in fact, newer studies show that women without HRT actually suffer from more cancer rates as well as significantly higher bone loss, heart issues and other things. If your doctor isn't on board with HRT I'd look for someone else who's an actual hormone expert although it seems like you find a great alternative. Good luck on your peri journey!

@@TheGlitterFiles Thanks for sharing your story and for being so open. You are looking beautiful and no need to apologise for anything! I'm also going through perimenopause and I can recommend Dr. Haver too. She is the counterpart to Dr. Sheila de Liz (operating in Germany and originating from the US), who helped me with her book "women on fire" (not sure if it is available in English). I think Dr. Haver wrote a book too or there is a new one from her to be coming out shortly. You could also have a look at the podcast "Diary of a CEO" where Steven Bartlett interviewed her and I think he has another episode about the topic too. I actually demanded HRT from my gyn to ease the symptoms and I had to tell him exactly what I want to take. Therefore I researched a lot about that topic before and then I booked a session at the online hormone clinic Dr. Sheila de Liz founded to get expert advice on top of the prescription I got from my "general" gyn.

Thank you for your video! I’m going thru it, also. The collagen loss and hair loss is so scary. The entire situation consumes me. I did just start a 2mg estrodial tablet. I’ll keep you posted on how that works out. ❤Looking forward to watching your next video!

Collagen loss has been the worst? The skin around my eyes cracks easily. I read that a lot of women are using estrogen cream on their face and necks, so I’ll be looking into that for sure lol. Please do keep me updated on your estradiol!

I recommend wild yam and red maca for hormonal imbalance. It promotes progesterone, progesterone is a precursor for estrogen, testosterone, and adrenal. If you are cold all the time, most likely you are deficiency of zinc. As for depression, saffron is the best, more potent than anti-depression medication. If your skin is dry, most likely you are deficiency of B3. I would not take any hormone therapy. 😊

I would never try to treat this with herbs and diet. And I say that as someone who has been vegan for over a decade so my diet is giving me benefits, but it will not fix this.

Im 41 and I never took birth control pill or a hormonal stabilizator etc, etc...I struggled with periods 3 years ago and I understood why, doctors gave me antihistaminics and then the hell : depression, suicidal thoughts, no menstruations for 4 months & lot of wierd stuff. I stopped the antihistaminic & any pills, I eat well (probiotics vegetables), no more bones cracks & a regular menstruations without any pain.
@TheGlitterFiles
@TheGlitterFiles Месяц назад
That sounds like it was horrible! It seems like you’re doing much better now? Are you still suffering with depression and suicidal thoughts?
@zorathoustra

@@TheGlitterFiles no thanks God. I noticed the timing : dentist gave me antibiotics & corticoid, dermatologist antihistaminic & the Gastro a heavy antibio therapy...boom! Studies just confirm that antiobiotics & chimical pills increase depression with "neuro toxins". Sorry, talked too much, I was touched by your video & just want to say, ure amazing and keep going and listenning to your body but forget about what they propose for hormones.
