I'm so close to menopause at 45, that I will just stick to good old fashioned pads. However, I love that things are evolving for women when they have their time of the month! 😊😊
It was falling into the shower not onto the floor. This is a period page that’s what it’s here for to show real period content so women are informed. There’s nothing shameful or gross about period blood.
Thank you I saw this and almost got it to try. Thankfully I didn't. I did buy the lumma disc from your shop and it is a freaking game changer! I have used cups for about 5 years. I used a diva cup through the normal parts of my cycle and the Merula xl for the heavy days. I usually have problems getting them to open and suction a few times each period. I had tried the disposable flex disk and it popped out of place when I sneezed while laying in my bed 😢 so I decided disks weren't for me. I decided to try with the lumma and this period has been so easy! No leaks and it only auto dumps a little on the toilet. Thank you for what you do you're awesome!
I also don't like the "ergonomic" discs. I tried the ziggycup and that thing was a nightmare. If it folds super easy to insert, it might also decide to fold inside and slip out of place.
As a German, it's so interesting to see how people struggle with this language. There are some mistakes in the text, tho people should still be able to understand what our teen was trying to say there. Always interesting to see that :O (German is quite a hard to learn language so it's cool to see people trying!)
About to pull the trigger based on this Vine review: I used the Saalt cup in the past, but found it difficult to remove without creating some sort of suction that always made me paranoid about dislodging my IUD. The Halo disc does not have the same issue. The cup is super light and flexible, making it beyond easy to insert and remove. I am a little concerned about its durability, given how thin it is, but I feel it is worth the risk to try it because of the comparatively low price. It is also quite comfortable, and effective for light and heavy flow days. It doesn't have any of the discomfort of a tampon for light flow days.
I'm 36 and have a full hysterectomy. I told my obgyn that I don't want pills, periods, or babies. BEST health decision I've ever made, and my immune system is stronger now even with my crohns disease. If your obgyn says no, then get a doctor that will listen to your needs. 🌺
I enjoyed coming across this video talking about period products even if I don't use the ones you're reviewing. I'm a pad girly, and I'm still happy to see a video showcasing what it's like on a period. I didn't find it gross. People will go on reddit 50/50 to see a persons face ripped off, thinking that's crazy cool but blurred menstrual blood and a bloody finger is just soooo bad. Pfft, honestly, you go girly! 🎉
ive been a cup girl since i was 14 but now at 26 I'm trying a disposable disc for the first time ever. but I'm a little sick with a cough and each cough loosens the disc from behind my pelvic bone and i am getting so frustrated
I just started using disk last month. It's definitely a learning curve. I'm using the flex disposables right now as i bought a whole box but id like to try a different one soon
I've tried 3 different menstrual cups. I really like the idea of not changing tampons quite as often, but they are not comfortable the first 2 days of cycle
About 10 years b4 my 7 years of mennopause - I used the diva cup size 2 (for women that have birthed babies vaginally), which worked really well except for the 2 times I hemorraged ... in that amount of time. The rim circumference is much smaller and the cup is deeper, quite comfortable and easy to remove as well as put in. I am new to your vids, is this something you've tried? Back awhile ago, it was the 1st cup on the Western Canada market.
I wish we had like an infographic for all of this cause the cup brand I tried caused pain for me, but I dont have the funds to just trial every cup or disc... I just want like a guide at this point.
Is there a cup or disc you would recommend for for me. I used the honey pot cup but I can't pee with it in. I would have to take it out every time I needed to pee because it would not let my body go naturally. So I kinda got discouraged and gave up
Why any woman would want to plug blood inside their body I won’t understand. I find these cups. Prolong your period as well. I got my period when I was 13 years old I am now 51 and hopefully it is slowing down. I will always just use a sanitary napkin, tampons, and products like this can actually make you go septic as some women wear them absolutely way too long. Not to mention you have to dig up inside yourself while on your period to grab this thing out. The whole thing is just stupid.
Love how immature people are about blood caused by a natural process. Funny how little they care with blood caused by violence but as soon as it’s a bodily function it’s gross. Hmmm
Why the hell would someone post stuff like this? It's disgusting !!! People please bring shame back. I mean look how people carry on about a breast feeding video but spilling your blood and sharing (what's suppose to be) private stuff like this is fine? You people are messed up, get your heads checked!!
