I just want to say to everyone praising these dads for bringing their sons and instilling these family values for the future. I'm thinking "granddaddy" did the same when these men were boys. Let's let the praise go were it started, and probably generations before him.

Very true but every generation could step away from it all it takes a lot of respect and perseverance to stay on the right track .. each era should gain more and more respect because it becomes so much easier to stray from the path especially in todays world of internet and the brothers are right in the middle

I grew up in the 70’s in NYC but what I have learned over 50 years is how similar everyone grew up and ate the same foods across America !! Raised in tuna casserole with a bag of crushed lays Chips on top lol fried Bologna sandwiches sauerkraut and kielbasa and PB&J it didn’t matter if you were upper middle class to poor the food back then was equal!! In todays world the wealthy eat foods the middle class and poor just can’t afford like wagu A5 lol .. I do love watching you raise your kids to respect nature from hunting to just enjoying camping or being in the woods away from the internet and all real world problems .. keep up the cool videos and stay humble and god bless

Time well spent with boys who will never forget it! When our sons were little we went on a camping trip somewhere different each Summer. Now that they are young men, they often tell stories to their own friends about our family excursions back in the day. More importantly, they enjoy sharing the outdoors with friends who never had the opportunity to go on trips like these as kids. Thanks for sharing your special time with all of us!

Right there is another generation of kids who will grow up loving the outdoors. You should be proud of yourselves for passing on all of your knowledge to these young men. They'll remember this weekend and all the others they take at the cabin until the day they die. My fondest memories were going upstate to the woods and I often think of those days, never expecting them to have ended. Don't let your days end. Your family is blessed.

Great vid, lovely place, lovely visit. So glad to see round-a-bouts still exist to play on for kids. There was a massive ditch dug around ours, from running around the one in the home park, from us trying to get it up to maximum speed.

So the backpack that was taken on the hike and passed around from mule to pack mule was really packed With good items especially first aid kit did the flashlight have a compass 👍

My parents owned a grocery store and growing up I worked every position there was at one point or another. Working the meat department was my favorite and this channel offers me a lot of nostalgia! I love it!!

Real nice video. . Gotta just say you all have very polite, well behaved kids. I was just thinking if me, my brothers and cousins got together and we did a video there would probably only be about 5 seconds of footage without something going on that had to editted out. I am assuming those kids were not stsnd-in actors 😁 ! You all should be very proud.

This is the way that the Lord meant for families to be. When a real dad is missing from a home, the home suffers. Wives, children need a strong loving husband and father. Too many homes are missing what you guys have been blessed with. Three generations working as a family unit and teaching their sons or daughters how to enjoy the right things in life.
