Greeting from Florida! I just found your channel and love all the videos. Such a beautiful place. I have a 4+ acre permaculture homestead and will be adding animals soon. Thank you for the inspiration.

Wonderful! I have similar concept with chicken composting system. Now I try to design a good chicken coop. Yours looks fantastic. I thought about building open front/fresh air elevated coop with only wire mesh in front from south side of coop inspired by Prince T. Wood's book about fresh air chicken coops.

how great! i don’t know that book. if you look at ‘deep litter’ and ‘goosehouse’ you can have a closer look. i like to make sure the ducks, geese and roosting hens have lots of ventilation above their heads and not on their bodies. but we are in a very damp, cool but not particularly cold climate. fresh air is critical to prevent respiratory issues.

Outstanding looking homestead...love your chicken run, we're building a new one shortly and yours has had an influence on its design. Thanks.

delighted to hear it jamie! thank you so much. we’ve been plotting to grow vines over it, maybe a self-fertile kiwi and an evergreen flower...the walled end has comfrey and an espaliered persimmon enjoying the fertile ground! would love to see what you make.
