I know this is an older video, but damn you do some seriously beautiful loc extensions. I wish I had done a bit more investigation and research into loc extensions before starting my journey. I think I would have started with them. It is a way to get through this short phase a little faster and not feel some kind of way when your baby locs are tooo short to pull into a ponytail but too long to lay down like the first two weeks of your starter locs. You’ve made a believer out of me. Thank you for sharing this!!

Couldn't you have done it closer to the end of her hair to keep her length? I want to do this, but I wouldn't want to add the extension so close to the root of my hair.

Wow! I'm getting loc extensions done in April this year. Now I've seen people do different methods of installation. I've seen people braid the hair so far down and then wrap the rest of the hair around the braid and I've seen the method you're doing. Which one is better?

i have a question!! i noticed you put most of her lenght into the loc extension (which i know make sense) but my hair is about her length if not a tad longer and im getting these soon but is it possible to start the extenstion further down the length of the natural hair to retain some of the length? i want my locs as long as i can get them but of course without breaking my bank even more than i already will be by having to buy longer extensions, so if i am able to maintain some of the overall length by using as much as my length as possible that would be awesome. but i do see how it could be some possble risk in it so id rather ask you!
