Hi friends, hope everyone is doing well! Today we make Fried Chicken, Iranian style. This is a very popular item in Iran served everywhere these days. It's slightly different from what you might be used to, but incredibly crispy, flaky, and flavorful.
Ingredients List:
• 3 Pounds of Chicken Breast (and some tenderloin
• 5 Cups of all-purpose flour
• 1/2 to one-liter vegetable oil
Spices (half for marination and half for flour mixture)
• 3-4 teaspoons sea salt
• 2 teaspoons black pepper
• 2 teaspoon paprika
• 2 teaspoons oregano
• 2 teaspoon garlic powered
• 2 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 spoon ginger pow
• 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

We do this when frying chicken..souther fried chicken.. if you want it extra crispy. I soak my chicken in buttermilk. I'm from the southern part of USA, Tennessee. I worked in Riyadh Saudi Arabia for almost 30 years so I ate food from many countries Iran being one. There's one rice dish we love as we fought over the browned rice at the bottom, can't remember the name. Thank you for sharing.

never in my life (52) I would imagine Soak in water after flour. crazy in the good way... I love learning new things.
