Merci Grapeleaves is one of the few persian foods ive seen that has a lot of variation. Maman joon uses the same ingredients as you but makes them shaped like a sausage. The persian restaunt near me doesnt have meat and serves them cold (ew). One of these days I'll gain the courage to try making fesenjan. I don't know how to cook anything that doesn't come out of the microwave
Lol biryani would never be biryani had it not come to India that is Bharat's spices. yes ,I will agree to one point that the Biryani has persian roots but what about the spices which makes it Biryani that is purely Indian.

Thank you Yousef. Made this yesterday, and my wife was very pleased. Her only complaint was that lubia should have been a little longer in frying pan. Otherwise I got good grades for this. Not as good as when she makes it, but well approved being made by a non Iranian 😊. I have made some of your dishes, and plan to do some more. Your videos are easy to follow and very educational.
