@@werevin649 he shows up i occasionally iirc in a couple flashbacks and in the ending plus if you chose to partner with Elly/Ellen he appears as a hallucination
Right? Like I can't even say what exactly it is but ... I was just baffled at how underseen EP was, to put it lightly. I dare say IS and EP were the only ones that didn't age like hot milk
@@DimT670 It's not that the rest are bad, but this duology managed to not only have a really engaging story integration with the whole whackiness (the fuhrer......) but also hit the nail by giving us character development for both the students trying to find their paths in life and adults trying to put their life's back together and dealing with their past mistakes in such a relatable way it hurts (until this day, Katsuya's sacrifice still sucks even if it was for the best at the end)
@@DimT670 It's all mechanics. Can't control party members, forced to date a social link, Dragon Questian redecoed monsters, party members becoming tired, etcetera. Good thematics, great asthetics, Godly soundtrack. Needs more LGBT+ definitely.
Oh man. I liked this song so much I actually used Cooledit Pro to extend it by looping it over. I did the same thing with the Innocent Sin boss battle theme.
Thank you for uploading these! I have been searching for them for a long time and I love Persona 2! :) Do you happen to have the last boss BGM? I can't remember his name but he's the very very last boss of Persona2: EP.
Well, it's the same in a lot of places, too (since the games repeat a bunch of dungeons). I think this is one of the only songs that's a remix of a track from the previous game. EP's music is smoother and complicated (more "adult") than IS's music, whereas IS's music is more energetic and emotional (more "teenage"). In some cases the change works really well (I love Maya Theme II and some of the event BGMs), and in other cases you just can't beat the originals (Luv Beam, Jun's Theme).
I think I remember the last boss's name now. Nyarlathotep's BGM! You have both IS and EP versions? That's really awesome. :D I look forward to seeing you upload it! Thank you so much!
That being said, I never said any repetitive jokes. Jojo fan or not, I enjoy the music.Btw the entire Persona series especially 2 is pretty much Jojo inspired in the first place.
I just finished uploading it actually =P. Yeah, Nyarlathotep was the final boss of EP. You misunderstood me a bit, though. Innocent Sin's and Eternal Punishment's final battle theme is exactly the same. Eternal Punishment however has an EX Final Battle Theme for the boss of the optional dungeon/optional ending.
wer can i buy all the persona ps2 games? persona 1,2,3,4 all versions pls reply tnx i tried 2 find these games but they all said that they dont have it because the game is old...........
They'd port IS first though, don't know if they would approve it getting translated and brought over though even today due to the themes in it. It'd just be plain silly for them to only translate half a game again and bring it over. In my opinion.
And Eikichi is better than Yosuke though Eikichi's love didn't die, being hated by someone you love is worse than her dead. Maya is notably the only one (besides Mitsuo) who denys her Shadow as she doesn't want to admit she hated the others over what happened in their past, if she did accept her Shadow, she would again hate them. And for Tatsuya, his Shadow truely represents the action of a silent protagonist as he reference the 'dreams' you chose for Tatsuya at the beginning.
Yosuke didn't know till before he comfronted his Shadow and bitch about it. Eikichi always believed his girlfriend hates him since he was young, his Shadow developed over the years like the others in P2. The Shadow Selves in P2 have more free will than those in P4 which they were able to summon Reverse Personas.
I thought this version of the boss theme is superior to that in innocent sin. A lot swear by that games soundtrack and it is very good but i think Eternal punishment is equally as good.
The Nazi element is quite strong in the game, yeah. No idea if that would stop it from getting translated, but there's a pretty big risk of that ?_? It would be real great to get a PSP remake though :(
the Shadow Selfs in Innocent SIn are awesome, those in Persona 4 have suckish lines and bitch about the originals' problems and want to take their place, in Innocent Sin they gave a reason why their originals felt
Actually, that's because they are made to be fundamentally different. The shadow selves in Persona 2 are machinations of Nyarlathotep, and their goal is to pretty much kill them by preying on their weaknesses and THEY are the ones that want to replace the originals. The shadow selves in P4, however, really do just bitch about the original's problem BECAUSE they want to be accepted as a part of them, NOT because they want to replace them. Note that the Malevolent Entity's imitations of the characters in Persona 4 Arena AND the "shadow selves" in Persona 4 Ultimax are more in line with the shadow selves of Persona 2, supporting that the P4 shadows just bitching WAS intended.
zaqareemalcolm It's also HEAVILY based on Jung's studies. According to what I've read, the shadow self is a Persona of oneself an individual does not wish to reveal to anybody to the point where one will deny it. By continously denying your shadow, however, you begin to psychologically deteriorate and can even become metaphorically consumed by it. Your shadow originates from problems in your life that heavily affect your emotions and how you act around people. The only way to overcome your shadow is by accepting it as a part of you.
Liam Conniff Yup. Also, Nyarlathotep is Persona's take of THE shadow archetype as described by Jung. (not to be confused with one's shadow lying in their subconscious). Philemon is the name Jung gave to his spiritual guide. 2Jung4Me
This comment doesn't make any sense, they can't pronounce persona "three" in any way. Persona cannot be pronounced three. Ugh you're making my head hurt.
