I like that the armbands on the party members have an armored look to them when they venture into Tartarus. It brings the P3 party more in line with the Investigation Team and Phantom Thieves in regards to having a separate look as Persona summoners vs. their student lives
but its kinda makes the essence of japan school culture that were in the original game to be lost😢 i think (just my opinion) they probably modify the red armband due to worldwide demographic to avoid sensitive issue
Pretty sure it's just P5's Phantom Thieves. All the Investigation Team had were the glasses, which were more in line with the original SEES' armband and holster. I love the new looks, although it's so obviously to try to match how overly flashy Persona 5 was
This has to be the hardest a Persona game has gone with its visuals, everything from the UI to the cutscenes has so much style and clarity and all I hope is that the game keeps that attention to detail in the gameplay.
This trailer is absolutely incredible and hype! The new animations, artwork, All-Out Attacks finisher screens, and the UI all look amazing! I’m glad to see that the Security Footage scenes and Combo Persona attacks are back! The new equipment and designs for the SEES members look awesome! This new battle theme is breathtaking and I can’t wait to play this game! 🥰😎❤️
Absolutely in love with that new key visual of the protag and Thanatos, from the gorgeous new outfit to the chains holding Thanatos together. I've never experienced Persona 3 before, and I'm really hopeful that this game will measure up to the expectations. P5R and P4G are really, really hard acts to follow, but with these designs and the massive fanbase this story and these characters have, I'm looking forward to it.
Definitely should try playing p3 and p3 fes, p5r might have changed the persona series to new heights but p3 fes in my opinion is what made persona what it is today. Can't wait to play this remake looks great
I played through P3P's female route recently (as my first real exposure to P3), and I think that while the original P3 is where modern Persona starts and it's extremely important, I ended up finding the non-social sim gameplay really grindy until the endgame. Add that onto FES not allowing you to control party members... The thing I've accepted at this point is that there will never be a "definitive edition" of P3. P3P may have the female protagonist and generally better gameplay, but what I've seen from FES tells me that it has *dramatically* better production values and an epilogue that, whatever you think of it, *is* more Persona 3. What I'm getting from P3R is that it's gonna be effectively improving the gameplay to the level of P5R with similar production values to that (alongside social links with male party members), which will probably end up replacing FES for most people. Also, Persona 3 is really good and I hope you have a good time with it!
The visuals look amazing, Atlus really went all out on making this game look stylish. I’m looking forward to hearing more of what they’ve done with the soundtrack, although it’s a shame it seems like Yumi isn’t the main singer anymore.
Shes up there in age. And is probably struggling performing and hitting the notes she used to be able to. I feel like its only natural to faze her out at this point, especially if theyre creating an all new ost

I am beyond excited for this game. I really cannot wait to see the mixture of in-engine cutscenes and the animated cutscenes. I know they said that there won't be any FES content but with how some of the trailers and subtle changes in the script it makes you wonder.
Something I don't see enough people talking about is the confirmation of the tapes from FES are back. Specifically the BEST one, with Mitsuru and Junpei.
got chills when Junpei goes "I'm so damn scared". I know some people are mixed on the new VA's but I think they sound incredible and give so much emotion. I played and love the original P3, I respect that game and love it so much, but I think this remake is going to be something incredibly special.
Coming your way in 2030 or beyond on PS6, lol. For now, I would love to see a P4 remake just like this one and maybe a game with both P3 and P4 casts (not a fighting game or Etran Oddysey spin-off), you know a n RPG (y).
WE HAVE SOCIAL EVENTS WITH THE SEES TEAM \O/!!! not sure if we're getting them as social links like FEMC does, but having events that expand makoto relationship with his team will be so nice to see
It's already confirmed there won't be social links with the male party members, but they will get plenty of these special events, exactly so Makoto can connect with them more than in the original.
Me knowing this chapter of their lives DOES NOT end on a happy note: :C On the flip side, that end credits song is fantastic once you're done wiping away the tears.
@@edwardsuou Sure, but Reload doesn't include the Answer for some stupid ass reason. So as far as new fans and people who haven't played the Answer are concerned, the game ends like a knife in the chest lol
@@stpeterdarker that’s exactly why the answer is so damn important, it’s a positive epilogue to a tragedy we don’t even see characters react to in the original story. Reload needs the answer content to work well, there’s no way around it.
I can't stop watching this trailer. Japanese, English... ♥ I have the feeling I'm gonna spend hundreds of hours with this game. Please, let it be the best in the series (and that's saying a 11/10)!
It’s incredibly unlikely it could ever top P5 Royal, do you know why? Because the base game have you fight whatever mindless shadow hunting for 70% of the calendar and the remaining has missed potential, abrupt scenes and it likely doesn’t even have the answer (probably the best most concise part of the game) which would be unforgivable.
@@edwardsuou You realize you can make that argument with the other games too right? P4 is nothing but saving people from the TV until the end of game and P5 is nothing but fighting random corrupt people until the end. That's just how all the games are written.
I'm absolutely in love with every aspect of what they have done. Persona 3 both saved and changed my life for the better, and continues to dear to my heart. I never get excited for games lately, or buy Day 1, but this is the first console game in over 5 years I've looked forward to.
I was hoping they’ll include “Kotone Shiomi” as a playable character Or could make her like “Makoto Yuki” twin sister and rewrite the whole story, not gotta lie I would like to see a future persona game where there are two wild card twin siblings that you could play as either one.
it's coming to ps4 and ps5 as well, it's just that there's some kind of embargo with Microsoft to not show playstation and only xbox and pc until i don't know when.
I hate that their deal with Microsoft makes it so they can't advertise that its coming out on PS4 and PS5 too. It's NOT an Xbox Exclusive. As a PS5 player, I'm so hyped for this!
This game is a day 1 buy for the visuals alone. If future Atlus games look like this, we're in for a treat. After hearing the VA's more I have definitely gotten used to them. They sound as good as the old ones. Ken and Aigis sound fine, Mitsuru and Junpei are spot on, Yukari and Fuka are good to. Makoto/Minato didn't talk much in P3 so hearing the MC possibly having more dialogue is always good. Now all that is left is to hear Strega. Derek Stephen Prince did awesome as Takaya he was both smooth and melancholic so I wonder what direction the new VA will take. But man...Akihiko I'm sorry. Your new VA makes me want whatever dank ass Shadow Garden evil kush he smoked before recording since he sounds high asf
