makoto’s smile fading into bloody snow and then the distorted music cutting out to the shot of his mom and that one word: “live”, just everything about this scnee gives me chills every time i watch it
I have a theory that makoto did in fact choose the bad ending but when the fall came The game reset to when he saved before he killed Ryoji. You know like some Undertale stuff
...no. He just had a vision (rather nightmare, as Elizabeth said) of what his alternative universe self did, for every ending in MegaTen Multiverse (or Amala Universe, if you want to get "scientific") is canon. It's just that some spawn sequels while some don't. For now, at least. Heck, some are still curious how Tatsuya from Innocent Sin is doing with (remaining members of) The Masked Circle, or what Demi-Fiend of the True Freedom ending is up to now: did he give up his powers completely? Is he training to best not only The Great Will, but also The True Demon self?
Oh my God and they even played a sadder version of "Memories of you" the song that plays in the end of the good ending. I thought the good ending was already sad enough but this is just painful
exactly, before playing P3, I watched the bad ending and honestly couldnt even tell that it was. Finally when I played the whole game, I watched the bad ending and I died inside from all the character development gone and it’s so bittersweet but terrible. P4 and P5 are in your face about it, P3 however, isnt and it makes it feel 150% worse.
Sweetie Lion yeah in my opinion it’s the worst one. Everyone just forgets what happened and starts to live their lives for the next couple of months. They have no idea that within a month or two, they’ll die yet aigis is the only one that knows about it. Definitely the darkest one
seven You misunderstood what I meant. I know it’s hard to find Izanami, i accidentally got the good ending instead of the true ending lol. I meant the bad ending is very “in your face” with the mood, looks because it looks grim. In P3 and P5’s bad endings, it looks normal which makes it worst. That what I meant, Persona 4 isnt obvious about what’s the right choice or what to do.
K I need to watch the movie ASAP. 3:04 Where the music starts to distort...holy sh*t I hate it but I love it at the same time. It hits the mark spot on. Whoever these guys are writing the story for P3 as well as the guys who made the movie and sound effects are very talented. Also REALLY depressing to see the only time he truly smiles is in the bad ending :,D
@BitterOrange i think its up to interpretation. From yukaris pov it was as real as it could be but later, Mitsuru comments how it was probably just a hallucination. We don't really know which one is right
@@Joaquin-xq5wo if i remember good, there was a discussion bout it that makes yukari think more about dead and it make her have a bit strength to face the vhs bout her father's original message that fuuka gave to her
I'm sure you have probably already found out by now, but if not, then to answer your question, not quite. This ending is better understood in the game actually. Ryoji tells them that if they kill him righ then and there, it will simply buy them more time to enjoy thier lives since it will stave off nyx for a few more months, while also wiping thier memories clean of everything they had done during the dark hour. Essentially they would go for the next couple of months blissfully unaware that the entire world is about to end....imagine how awful it must have been once nyx finally did descend and nobody knew what the the hell was going on.
It doesn't have an official name because of weird circumstances, so it's just known as Memories of The School (Piano) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0IO5k4k3vQ0.html
Not really. P5R’s bad ending is everyone living a truly happy life, even if said happy life is an illusion. This ending is being blissfully unaware that the world is going to end in 3 months.
That's kinda the point. The Shin Megami Tensei series is dark as a whole, it's not meant to be a fun trip it usually includes tons of suffering with demons, evil angels, evil gods and etc. The Persona Series is a sugarcoated spin-off lol
The world ends and every living thing dies isn’t a bad ending, but getting blackmailed into being the accomplice to a serial killer is. Both are definitely horrible, but one’s a bit worse.
Bad ending was killing ryoji By kiling ryoji the mc erase everyone memories except aigis and postponed the fall so what the mc did is just erase their memories so their don worry about their death
