@@danalynch118the argument for Aigis is it being a major focus of the movies including multiple hugs and a lap pillow. All of which are romantic in a Japanese context. The argument for Ryoji is that they're friends. That's it. Literally no reason to consider him a love interest.

So Tomohisa Taguchi, Director of Winter of Rebirth, has actually stated in an interview (Newtype Magazine February 2016) that his interpretation is "Ryoji and Makoto are in love with each other."
And here I thought Ryoji in Reload was really funny and sweet... I love how many versions this guy has, and each of them is absolutely in love with MC, no matter if they are a guy or a girl
There are a lot of similarities with evangelion. * Main character persona goes berserk, turns into a persona that looks like berserk evangelion. * A group of children fights against certain supershadows (angels). They have to defeat all to save the world * The last child to join the group is actually the bad guy.

Honestly i never knew people shipped Makoto with Ryouji, in the game i always got the feeling more of a friend or let's be honest being another part of the protagonist. Due to the only reason Death to be humanized is because it was sealed into an human, and with Nyx being the indirect progenitor of life in the way we know on Earth in the Persona universe, it knowing about humans and how to live life as best as you can, Death took human form after being with you for 10 years and after separeting from you turned into your best friend. It's pretty poethic, and really exemplifies the themes of Persona 3 Death is not your enemy but something you must learn to live with, so you spend your days on bonds, because those are the things that truly make live beautiful, even the memeable phrase that Nyx Avatar says everytime it changes phases The Arcana is the way by which all is revealed, are actual life changing advices about how to live a life that brings value to you, every single variation. This design looks a lot more violent and sinister, so with a few small tweaks, let's call it Keres. The Keres were female death spirits, respresnting violent death. Similarly to the Valkyries of Norse Mythology, the Keres searched battlefields for dead soldiers. I think we can rule out the possibility of ryoji liking Makoto. In P3P if you choose femc, in one his SL he talks about how he would fall in love with mc regardless if you're a boy or a girl... And I think it's not even in rank 8/9 but between rank 3 or 4
honestly just going thru and watching p3 stuff since the remaster is out and im broke, but i miss this game and the movies. i always liked these two together. i also like minato with elizabeth. i feel like he has good connections with more outcast characters in p3, more so than his closer friends. its interesting to me, love ryomina the best though, i think the final boss stuff really makes this ship more dynamic
Don't worry about the "remaster" it's just a port of persona 3 portable. But yeah i know that fealing Of wanting to play again. I also like Minato x ryoji.. It reminds me of kaworu from Evangelion... and his mythical phrase I was born to meet you. Because I feel that Ryoji and Minato complement each other very well
Now that reloaded is on its way, and we know the dev team was responsible for all the gay in Royal’s 3rd semester, I hope they include the relationship in the game. Kind of like how it is here, they really made Ryoji great and didn’t squander the potential like the original P3 did
Actually? Male social links that got crossed out in the female route make cameos in it (fir example keisuke). So all "possible" social links are canon and exist within the universe, we just don't make bonds with them.

I like Ryoji x Makoto and Aigis x Makoto. Both r good. I don’t normally ship Makoto with anyone tho, so I only like the ships a tiny bit (compared to the other ones) but their interactions can be both platonic and romantic. Really the only ship I really am into is Yukari x Mitsuru lol
Makoto is in love with Aigis, more explicitly in the films but arguably without player imput in the games, too. But of course, see two guys be close and it has to be gay to some people.

@@frikizone2.03 at least ryoji is gay my guy. In femc's route, he literally confessed to her that no matter what gender she is, he will always be into her. And even if somehow both of them were not gay, that didn't stop anyone from shipping them, because they had certain chemistry with each other. Remember this is a video game, we are talking about fictional characters here, so as long as its not real people there is no actual harm to anyone if people want to headcanon their ship.
