Funny how when editing this, a video about my bigger wins, all I saw were all the gaping flaws in my play. I clearly have some bad habits to break. So yeah, Adachi comebacks. Because that's what Magatsu Mandala exists for.
Newer Adachi player here, any tips?? I really like him and am getting fairly good at a beginner level (as in I’m probably going to actually win online matches a bit more now) but I still can’t really get any combos going.
If you can’t get any combos going then lab some out and learn how to hit them consistently. Make sure to learn Tennis combos if you haven’t already as they are important for Adachi to get decent damage
@@Heli-Vision I’ve heard tennis combos explained to me, just not in a way I understand. I don’t understand what stuff like C5 or A2 means, and that’s how it was explained to me (I play on pc)
@@laundrybasketgamers The letters correspond to the face buttons. ABCD where A is Square or X depending on your controller. The numbers correspond to the direction the dpad or left analog is facing. Think of the number pad on your pc where 1-9 represent a direction and 5 either means the analog is centered or no direction is pressed on the dpad. The best way to learn the tennis combo is to go into practice mode, set a dummy to jumping, and use 2C to catch the dummy with your anti-air. On impact, short hop (2AC) and press Triangle or Y (5C) to play ball with magatsu izanagi. Just experiment with it. It just takes some time to get the rhythm down and learn the flow of it. Once you get it down, you're in the top 10 percentile for most dangerous Adachi players Edit: Misinput
@@nursehellamusic Woah. The Nursehella? You're like my hero! This is the next best thing to meeting Chino Moreno. You're my musical inspiration, I can't wait for what's cooking in the studio.
Btw guys is adachi good or just alright in this game, i don't wanna play a top tier that's absolutely unfair but I really really like adachi as a character overall
He's strange in that you don't really get 100% of his kit until awakening. He's fair-to-middling at best until then but he becomes a beast if you can make things work after that. That being said, you always run the risk of just getting blown out before you can get anything really started.
He’s high tier and can do really well without awakening, when he has awakening and Mandala up that’s when the bullshit starts. He can apply constant poison damage and fear that can make him a character that 2 touches people
