I love the fact that, despite pretending to be a good guy when in the white suit, Akechi lets slip some lines when killing enemies so passive-aggressive that those of Haru seem almost innocent
Funny thing is, since Haru is like that too, but still a good guy. I feel like anyone before Akechi’s betrayal might not be catch on just yet if they noticed this detail with Haru because “Oh well Haru like that and she’s good….I hope, it’s probably nothing”.
@@BlueTwins Yes. In Japan they use the “R” sound differently when trying to pronounce L. I think it’s cause Japanese people can’t pronounce L at all, or just can’t do it well.
@@BlueTwins specifically, roki robin huddo. And since the "ro" would be pronounced the same (while in English "Loki" and "Robin" have different sounds) it would actually be pretty salvageable.
Honestly, yeah he could honestly salvage it is because Japanese people tend to struggle with those sounds. Phantom thieves already know he's a traitor so they probably wouldn't believe that, but it's more believable than it would be to English speakers
I wonder of something similar ever happens to Joker He forgets which personas he actually has on him, so he starts listing off the entire compendium until finally a persona responds "ARSENE!" *nothing happens* "..... uhhh... King Frost!........ Phoenix? Thor? ......who else is there........ uhh.. Mot. Pale Rider. Pixie." *Pixie appears* "Finally... but why do I have a Pixie? I'm lvl 75"
Imagine if he slipped up later on in the palace after the Phantom Thieves had discovered that he was a traitor, and just looked at him with disappointment.
@@ProfiteerProphet I think they knew they couldn't trust him because *P A N C A K E S*, but they didn't know he did the mental shutdowns until after Futaba bugged his phone. They went into the palace immediately after that, so Futaba wouldn't have had time to check until after the first palace visit
@@mhelm0225 True. She yoinks his cellphone right before they enter the palace for the first time, so they wouldn't know he was the traitor for at least the first day in the palace.
Akechi: Good thing no one noticed my slip up, phew! Joker: *whispers to the other theives*: Yeah he's totally hiding a secret evil persona, and here I thought he just wanted to murder me!
Fox: *shows sketch to Joker/whispering* I think that was the trickster god Loki, known for his tricks making people to mad All the PTs' reaction minus Akechi: yep, definitely the true culprit Akechi, internally: now I fucked up
Joker: I wonder what his third one is? Haru: maybe the Sadistic thing ain't a good idea Makoto P3R: It's going down down down down down down down uh LOOOOOOKKKKKIIIIIIIII
Joker and Makoto be like, "Honey." "Yes dear?" "I think we're going to be fine, this guy's a mess." "Let's not roll out the victory party just yet. Do you wanna hit up that Jazz club after this?" "Absolutely."
In the animation, he calls himself Karikami? I think it's Karikami, which is black. And then he says it's the opposite. Hm, I wonder if he could be the black mask.
