I like how Akira went full badass and didnt use any voice modifier AND showed himself (sort of). He took "Come at me bro!" on a whole new level with this scene!
Discord Goro even said himself something along the lines of 'you've never talked much, but you're still so interesting' in the arc confrontation. Joker not being one for words beyond encouragement or snarky reply is pretty much established as a character trait. As was said in the last reply, even taking in his dialogue choices he still talks much less, and a sentence at a time.
It's still kinda dumb to reveal the silhouettes. everyone's hair, 7 kids with a cat, and they are all standing in the crowd at 10:10. Doesn't take a genius to see it's them.
Tofu but it isn't specificity the 7 teenagers with a cat, and with a busy area such as that, I doubt people give them a second glance with all the commotion
"It's not like you can recognize a trash in the trash bin" - Ryuji It actually makes sense. While they look standout in anime artstyle. It is not the same in real life. No one remembers your generic hairstyle and everyone can change their hair style with ease.
If this calling card to Shido happened during the Summer (when their approval rate was about 80% or so), they would have gotten the most insane and loudest pop ever. But this was still fucking masterful
Guilherme Brasil Even after defeating the holy grail, the public still hates or don't care about the phantom thieves. after beating the holy grail, the rating is 30ish %
I love how Morgana opens up and closes the whole video, but since nobody but Metaverse users could understand him it just comes off as meowing. Fucking brilliant.
Funny how, apart from Mishima and Man of the People, all the Confidants with romantic options expressed their faith in you. And I'm starting to think your party composition is less of a coincidence.
lelouch and Akira (the protag) was voiced by the same person. Maybe that's why.. edit : and the order of blacknight and phantom thieves kind of resembling each other. They are there, to 'protect' the weak
The difference between the two is the Black knights is a terrorist group lead by a teenager who wears a mask, btw they pilot giant robot. The Phantom thieves is a group of outcasted teens that fights supernatural beings in a other world and change a person's heart and also this group leader is a teenager who a mask.
So... How exactly did they get the footage of them in their costumes? I remember them saying cameras didn't work in the Metaverse, back at Kamoshida's. Did they, like, cosplay themselves?
Same thought. To me, they just used the same Metaverse trick that they used to fake his death during the final parts of Sae's dungeon. They just filmed it in like...the opening of Mementos or something.
okay i might be late for this and no one's gonna read it but something's lingering on my mind. As you can see in the video, the phantom thieves all have their full costume equipped. including mona, who has transformed into his cat form. so i assume it means they are recording it in the metaverse. but as we have seen in the earlier palace (to be exact, the second time you went to kamoshida's palace, the time of ryuji's awakening) it is shown that electronics don't work in the metaverse except for the navigation app. shown by ryuji and joker's phone cameras not working. so how are they able to record the video? actually now that i think about it, Futaba actually got her laptop to work inside the metaverse (in saferooms, showing off to the it guy in shido's palace) does that mean futaba's laptop has special capabilities? then what are the limits of external technology from the real world in the metaverse which dictate they can work or not? not trying to hate on this game or anything. i too, was grinning and screaming like a bitch when the last calling card was sent out. but i just thought i'd point that out. idk tho there might be an obvious answer and i just overlooked it lol
-Yes they are recording it in the metaverse -It has been stated clearly many times that nobody will ever know your identity if they meet you in the metaverse unless you chose otherwise -Ever heard of mitsuru's bike? Its a specialized motorcycle capable of operating in the dark hour. So futaba found a way to enable her gadgets to operate in the metaverse -Futaba and necronomicon specializes in hacking a "system" by studying its inner backbone. Futaba knows more about cognitive pscience than anyone. All navigators have a certain trope they follow. Fuuka specializes in detailed enemt detection, Rise specializes in utility such as buffs and debuffs and Futaba specializes in hacking the metaverse and palaces. -She can hack the metaverse allowing PT's to operate. Plus its based on desires, its the same as how iwai's airsoft guns are harmless in the real world but deadly in the metaverse. -There is little to no limit in futaba's capabilities as long as she has a lot of knowledge in cognitive psience.
Works for me. He isn't supposed to be a strong character, just to look like he's strong. His voice shows this (not that the VA made a bad job, on the contrary, he made an awesome one) Akira's VA on the other hand... my ears get wet just from hearing the Persona's names.
Difficult to say. He definetely did evil things, but that might be because of his distorted desires. Personaly (ha!) I called my group "The Redeemers" because I believed they were actually helping their victims come to their senses. So not one of the antagonists were trully evil imho.
