Actually my biggest gripe with Persona 5 if I had to make one is how silo’d some of the confidants are. I hope in 6 they focus on making all the confidants a more breathing tapestry of interactions.
It's a stretch but I think its implied canonically that Joker keeps Arsene throughout his journey so they might have all seen him. Remember the cutscene during the Casino palace where he appears and how Jokers rips off Arsene's chains before summoning Satanael?
You could do what I did and make him a lv99 steroid version with alarm gallows and cards. He kinda scary. Admittedly this took me the entire game to do but Arsene was alway on hand.
That last part reminds me that Akechi weren't very accepting of himself. He thinks he's ugly and hideous (Loki) and if he needs to gain favor, he has to be something like Justice in it's shiniest form (Robin Hood) . While Joker knows he's no hero but he wants to do what he wants to do as himself.
I always thought it was the opposite, ie he hates his “good boy” persona, and revels when he’s his destructive, chaotic persona. Like he regretted that decision after his fight with the PTs but I always had the impression that he hated having to act all righteous and proper in front of people to get what he wanted.

Hearing characters compliment or bring up their understanding of Joker awakening arsene or the fact Arsene is the shape of jokers heart brings a tear to my eye showing how much each character loves and cares for Joker

There are much stronger Personas out there, definitely. But if done right, though, he can kinda be your wild card Persona. The good thing about P5R is that you have other options when strengthening your Personas versus the original game. It just takes way more time to build him up to a point where he's viable late game.
Arsene is totally viable in P5R. He has good strength and magic and makes Joker almost always get the first attack with how fast he is, and training him to null ice and bless will be the way to go, but you're mostly gonna be keeping up with skill cards.

The Chaos CHAD understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Mara truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Mara existential catchphrase "I'm coming !," which itself is a cryptic reference to Zaou-Gongen's Buddhist epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as the cognition genius wit unfolds itself in front of them. I wished the initial persona grew with the user in persona. So the stronger you are, the stronger they are and with time their weak stats go to strong and other stats that had no special effect went to strong as well. Or the level of the main persona being the same as the level of the player whilst still making use of progressive evolution! Kinda like the Monado from Xenoblade Chronicles 1

Personally? I like to think that the Thieves Den functions similarly to the Velvet Room and Joker can choose to pull his confidants in; only the members of the Phantom Thieves (and maybe Sojiro) actually know this happens, though. For all the other Confidants, it feels like it's a dream, they know what happens when they go in but when they go out they just get a 'I think I had a weird dream' sort of feeling.
They are? Jose says this is the palace made by all the confidants not just Joker. So I guess they are there? Maybe their dream selves kinda like it is in Dancing in Starlight
El Mina ok that might be it too, or their appearances are just random because you know, if all confidants are maxed that would be a very crowded den which making their appearances random makes sense
I'm guessing that There are other characters that can appear in the den as well, or are these just the ones you've finished. Really woulda liked to see some other non thief characters comment.
There are various chill songs now. P5R catched my eye more than P5. The ost of P5 was way too loud. But this background music and "happy world" definitely definitely makes me want to buy it
