Tbh this is how you interact with friends who work in retail or just in a 711, no nagging for a discount. Just saying hey and telling them they're doing a good job.
@@A_Flied_Fly Not really. You can talk to them later, if you do while they work they might end up getting reprimanded by the manager or make them uncomfortable
Joker: "For the last time Yusuke, I'm not going to leave all the expired Jagariko behind the dumpster in the back. Stop asking, you are embarrassing yourself and me."
Yusuke: PLEASE JOKER I NEED THEM!!!! Ryuji: how the hell he gots more chances with the ladies than me when he is doing this kind of stuff?! Morgana: bruh, send him to sleep like I do it to Joker Ryuji: *dark souls boss theme starts playing* Yusuke: fuck... *you died*
Every phantom thief member: "omg we need to prepare for our confrontation with the final boss!" Joker: "sorry mate, got an extended shift this evening"
Better method: Fortune Teller AOA Buff plus Ryuji's instakill x Jose x SEES Armbands x playing Eurobeat music = Dear G O D I'm a millionaire and still a teenager
Teammate:Wow you're working here that's sick ! Keep up the good work Joker:How'd you think I get the money to buy our stuff ?? Tm:Uhh farming in mementos ? Joker: that's right ! Now please get on with your day I gotta pay for my maid services somehow
@@ItsDanbo Division of funds, bro. Phantom money used on phantom stuff. RL money for RL stuff. He works hard so he can make it rain for his favorite meow maid.
I wish there was a sojiro interaction. Where sojiro just gains respect for joker like a dad when his son gets his first job and picks up his cigarettes and leaves
Looks like the host Joker stood up to in Makoto's SL. Maybe he goes there hoping to square up but always gets cold feet so he buys something off the counter and leaves.
@@beeftastesliketoenails94 you can't. And even if you can pay 3 million, Kaneshiro will probably just take the money and try to extort more money from you since he could still blackmail you
I guess it's because it's japan. Remember that japanese culture is built on keeping yourself in check while in public and being overall respectful. Even if actual japanese employees don't have customers that behave that way, it's understandable why the game want to get the right idea out there.
@@ohav3893 Japan or not, working in retail means having people treat you like shit. I think Morgana's words are correct, you learn to hone your social skills by playing along with the customer, but it eats at your soul.
I used to work at a hotel and my God did I want to beat the ever living shit out of most of the customers for the shit they pull. I tried to avoid talking to the customers as much as possible.
@@yomamaisgaming Sometimes you don't have the time to go somewhere. I mean, it's Tokyo. Traffic is crazy so if you don't have a car, you have to be at the mercy of public transport (which Akechi is) so if you can't get a ride, you have to walk. You have any idea how big Tokyo is?
Makoto: ... Ren: Ummm....(Sae suddenly appears behind her) Sae: *You will take responsibility for what you did and sign the papers if its positive of course. I have faith my future brother in law will be more than ready to provide for his new family* Morgana: (watching from window) Well, he's on his own for this one.
He eats at trendy restaurants mostly, i think it was an art book or something outside the game that gave info like that. His hobby is trying new foods and new restaurants, but not because he likes trying food, he likes having the knowledge of these places as easy small talk with others, typically adults he's trying to impress.
Akechi walks in * barely contained hysterical cartman like laughter* Akira "are you gonna buy your pancames or what?" Akechi abruptly stops, a grimace flitters across his face before his usual smile. "No not today. I merely wanted to use the restroom i eat only healthy foods after all. Got to keepnup my strength" "You're gonna need it" -akira "What?" "What?"
I'm honestly surprised how lenient these employers are. You just go in to get your respective quests and you still have the job when you ignore them for the rest of the year.
I love how everyone not only supports the player for having a job and some even compliment them in that terrible outfit, but respects them to not over stay, talk too much, be too loud, and to wait in line without issue. Ryuji is my little cheerleader, I’m happy he likes seeing me
@@Yengozi Well haru's kind im sure she actually likes going and doing simple thing's,akechi has a big reputation to keep and maybe going to some ramdom convenience store might not be good for his reputation
@@pangoldie I don't see how going into a regular convenience store can ruin your reputation, even if you are famous, we see him go in normal everyday cafe's.
At first, I thought we wouldn't see Yusuke because let's face it, he's perpetually broke. But then he brought up his potato-stick addiction, and I thought "okay".
I don’t know if they added these in Royal cuz I don’t remember these scenes in the original but I love them. They feel so real like when we see our friends at work and it’s a bit strange seeing them in a different environment or mode kinda like seeing a teacher outside of school. Like seeing a dog walk on it’s hind legs as Janis Ian would put it.
I’m gonna be honest, when I saw Ryuji first time when I was playing I was expecting him to ask for a discount. How foolish to think the best waifu would say that.
It's nice to see that you get some stat points from working at the convenience store in Royal. In the original game, I only worked at the convenience store in order to unlock the Mementos mission.
Okay but shout out to the one NPC who's in front of the main characters, that's some store loyalty! He does it because he thinks Akira is cute and is trying to catch his attention, that's his background I've just decided it
Kinda wish you could interact with all the confidants while working, and not just the convenience store. Like some of the adult confidants you could meet while working at the beef bowl shop, or kinda risky, but working with Lala-chan at the bar too. Maybe some want flowers at the flower shop, or maybe just show up at Leblanc for coffee and curry. Honestly though, I just want more Kawakami.
Haru: I heard the coffee was good that even baristas recommend it. So i decided to buy out the entire chain, that's right, you now work for Okumura Foods, isn't that great? Joker:... [palace theme intensifies]
I am actually surprised that Yusuke has money to buy stuff from the store, I thought he was just gonna say that the stuffs are too expensive and leave the store lmao
*on a red light district salon* Sae: J-joker? I didn't knew that you worked here haha... But I mean... I already paid so... *There is no turning back now*
