I love it. It's like last surprise but with the extra touch fitting for a Joker who got even more athletic and stylish thanks to Sumi's influence on him.
@@lioshabbar7525 other than joker, I usually don't refer to the characters as their code names. Hell, I usually will just say Ren, although his canon name hasn't seem to caught on as quickly as Yu's did.
This artwork looks so good Joker & Kasumi really compliment each other appearance wise, and I know that's intentional but they still look so fucking cool.
I think she was supposed to be an Alt Mc which is why she’s so similar to Joker design wise. The mask is near, the outfit is super identical and the overall presence she shows in the metaverse is pure Joker.
@@davidtimmer596 Well it would be difficult. Since Persona is also a social simulator, and people act differently around females than males, they would have to change quite a bit. I mean wouldn't Kamoshida be a lot more insistent on you getting in the car if you were a female?
I still stand by that I wish this game was named Persona 5: Crimson, especially with all the red that is used in the game. Similar to how Persona 4's enhanced edition is named Golden
0:45 I realized this is saying "I'm a Butterfly", which ties into the whole thing of "Once, I dreamed I was a butterfly"... That's connected to Persona as a whole when it comes to its inspirations, so that's pretty cool!
@@brandongreenland9632 Hey, if you want butterflies in your Persona go search "Dream of Butterfly" the OP for the Persona 1 PSP remake. Either the original opening or the Kinetic Typography video uploaded a few years back are good choices.

I mean. I agree, but P5R hadn't even been announced when Joker was added to Smash. Hell, nobody knew why he had a grappling hook in Smash until the first P5R trailer dropped.
Is better than this song, but as great as the game is, for some things I still prefer P5 over Royal. Maybe it's just me, but Royal simplifies some stuff (ex: baton pass), helping you to go through the game easily than P5, and this battle strategies, scheduleing your time for the palaces etc. is what makes Persona franchise so good and addictive, and Royal doesn't need that much effort (not that you don't need any, just not as much as P5). But this being said, Royal (and P5) is one of the best JRPG of this generation, no doubt!!!
@@roig8 i guarantee you if you're brand new to the game and you play on something much harder like merciless or hard, you earn less xp and receive like 1.6x more damage then the normal playthrough, and im talking on a fresh playthrough knowing absolutely nothing about the game, it is extremely difficult. it only gets easier on new game plus and after you grind the ever living shit out of the game and actually get good at it and understand how the gameplay works. i do agree it is much easier with all the mechanics that they introduced in this to turn fights around very easily but it still has difficulty to it regardless if you just act careless
There is a universe out there where P5 Royal is just P5 Portable for bigger consoles, and Kasumi is the FemC of the game. Kinda wish that were the case here because so many people wanna romance Akechi, and who knows maybe that "P5 Portable" would keep him alive instead of being ambiguous towards his fate.
@@seacat754 I meant since Persona 3 Portable had the option to play as a FemC, and it was only available for PSP and PSVITA, I was saying that game wise there is a universe were we got a Persona 5 Royal, but it's like P3P in that Kasumi is the FemC and the story would change a bit around that.
This is FEMC all over again. Royal should be SAE romanceable with FEMC Kasumi as the start protagonist option and a new beginning story. P3femc was so much fun.
@@moniljainshah3508 I think one factor is how good the beginning is. Last Surprise got on my nerve after some time because the beginning isn't quite as enjoyable as Take Over's
@@authorbat5562 She's not but she definitely has my favorite social link that develops feelings on her side (you see it slowly progressing) and she confesses to you. Not the usual "Why'd you really wanna help me out?" She's also just written beautifully. All her little quirks, her character design, her backstory, her social link changes coinciding with story changes... there's so much to love about Kasumi and by the end game, she'd taken over as best girl from Makoto, in my eyes at least.
@@redranger807 IMO, she and Makoto are the best social links in the game, just because of how unique they are. Both of their social links just feel really natural. But yeah, I prefer Makoto over her.
@@DbonnRP That means you equipped a dancing outfit. Some outfits have specific songs tied to them. I can confirm that Take Over plays in every palace whenever you ambush
