This optional boss battle is a part of the Mementos Request "O My Young Sister, I Cry For You" in the 3rd semester segment of the game, and this is how to beat the most powerful physical demon in the game with only 2 attacks.
Shadow Minamoto (Yoshitsune), just like his playable Persona counterpart, shares the same resistances. He nulls phys, resists fire, and repels electric and bless. He is also immune to ailments, countering the common Technical damage strategies in Royal. Because of all this, having Haru and Akechi to crit him with their gun attacks is by far the best strategy to shut him down with ease.
