I had this: something something sexy Come on why dont you spin the wheel, see where it will go GIVE INTO TEMPTATIONNNNNN something something something whims of fate something something
I like how Sae had a natural change of heart instead of having her treasure stolen. The change of heart works for the other palace owners, who are too far gone to be saved through normal means (including Futaba since she's heavily mentally and emotionally damaged), but Sae's desires felt barely distorted enough to have a palace and she still hadn't truly given up on her justice, so it works.
funny24686 like I said before, the palace would have crumbled once the treasure stolen or something happen to real body. It always been the case since first palace.
funny24686 Replaying that many times doesn't mean you don't miss things :P . Sae specifically says to Akira that he failed to change her heart, plus they needed to keep the palace up to accomplish the crazy Joker revival plan (otherwise he'd be dead lol). She changed her heart on her own without any treasure being stolen for absolute sure
funny24686 just because you claim you beat it 413 hours and 7 playthroughs it doesn’t mean jack shit if you don’t have proof. It’s either you have proof to backup your claims or your just trolling us with this “I know cause I’m an expert” crap XD
not only in P5 but almost all Shoji Meguro songs have that magic, he's a genius, just listen to Snow Queen and Mass Destruction from P3 or Heaven and Never More, you wont have enough of them, ever
Champagne flutes and Dinner suits that Keep your focus Away from the cheating hands Tell me Does that sexy Gown say what she's Got in store for her man? So we roll the dice, See where they may fall Come on, why don't we spin the wheel See whom it may call (To) Give into temptation (To) Win it (Or) Maybe lose it all Who knows Where the whims of fate may lead us Chandeliers and Decolletes that Keep your focus Away from the cheating eyes Tell me What's that bow tie On the card guy Tell you 'bout his design So we roll the dice, See where they may fall Come on, why don't we spin the wheel See whom it may call Give into another vice, See where it might lead Come on, let's just enjoy the spice (Of) Life and feel so free (To) Give into temptation
Emil, are you tired of never hearing any english lyrics to songs so you thankfully gave us these lyrics Not dissing NieR music in any sense of the word
me, clueless, at kaneshiro’s palace: holy shit this has gotta be the best palace theme in the whole game me, a mere few chapters later, now at niijima’s casino: HOLY SHI-
Me, also clueless at Madarame’s palace: Ok wow that was the best palace theme and also best palace mechanics in the game so far Me also a few chapters in Sae’s Palace: WHAT THE FU-
Kamoshida's song: Kinda interesting. Good for 1st palace Madarame's song: ehhhhh Kaneshiro's: good at first but gets boring real quick Furaba's: wheres the lyrics Okumura's: *EARRAPE* Sae's: goosebumps good Shido's: meh until RIVERS IN A DESERT Mementos: Best Unease is good
I honestly thought Madarame's was the best. A band here on RU-vid gave it lyrics and it's so good. But this one is definitely my very close second pick.
Holy shit I just realized (To) Win it (Or) Maybe lose it all Who knows Where the whims of fate may lead us This song might also be alluding to the fact that your plan going into that palace and what happens afterward is a complete gamble of whether it'll work or not.
Robo-Knight YT the fact this has vocals, makes it the best theme. I haven’t gotten to Sae’s palace yet, but I got to the point where it was known we were going to attack her. Had to search up her Palace Theme, way better than ANY OTHER PALACE, even better than Futaba’s.
@@michaelgrant6899 Nah. Yaldabaoth fit the theme and what was set up with Mementos. But I did like fighting her more than Shido who just seemed strong for no good reason?
So you don't have to ask, here are the lyrics Champagne flutes and Dealer suits that Keep your focus Away from the cheating hands Tell Me Does that sexy Gown say what she's Got in store for her man? So we roll the dice See where they may fall Come on, why don't we spin the wheel See whom it may call To give into temptation To win it, or maybe lose it all Who knows where the whims of fate may lead us Chandeliers and Decolletes that Keep your focus Away from the cheating eyes Tell me What's that bow tie On the card guy Tell you 'bout his design? So we roll the dice See where they may fall Come on, why don't we spin the wheel See whom it may call Give into... Another vice See where it might lead Come on, let's just enjoy the spice Of life and feel so free To give into temptation
Honestly, just the idea of a character you've known since the beginning having a late game Palace is extremely interesting. We've known Sae for so long, she comes off as a bit of a bitch but not evil, until you realise she has a Palace just like all the others. It's so bizarre and interesting to see a character you've known for so long, to act completely different in the Metaverse.
Same I was like wut she has a palace because she didn't seem evil unlike the SIU Director or Principal guy. And it's the palace from the beginning of the game.
It makes all the infiltration thing much more fun tbh)....hey! Does that mean I'm close to the end of the game? I remember this casino area at the beginning of the game.....hmmmm... I guess I'll need to have new game plus after I beat the game^^
I just listened to this twice in a row, only to realize two hours had passed in an instant. Persona 5 has one of the most enjoyable soundtracks I've ever experienced.
Easily my favourite palace: Best Palace Ruler Design? ✔️ Best Palace Aesthetics? ✔️ Best Palace Theme? ✔️ Best Girls Sister? ✔️ Awesome throwback to opening cutscene? ✔️ Palace ends with a huge plot twist? ✔️ This palace was just a solid 10/10 for me tbh The only thing I think this Palace was lacking on was the calling card tbh, but lets be real nothing could trump that final calling card xD
"From this moment forward, the number of coins for the bridge will increase to 1,000,000 coins!" Akechi: *I'm gonna do what's called a pro gamer move.*
I remember taking my sweet time with Niijima's palace, even to the point of aimlessly dashing around with Joker after defeating the guards because I JUST WANTED TO HEAR THIS ON LOOP! It's so beautifully upbeat (as with the rest of the soundtrack) but this one in particular, really did it for me
who else wants to become a phantom thief and hang around with these fellas ;-; and have your life have an awesome soundtrack Edit: Btw I never realised so many of y'all felt like I did, we in this together
Wanna know something interesting about P4 and 5? This dungeon and Heaven from P4 are the only ones with lyrics. They're also the third-to-last dungeons in their respective games.
I haven’t finished P4 yet (only just got the Navi character) but I have noticed that there are always huge similarities between each game. Sometimes it feels like blatant copying of a formula, sometimes it feels really deep lol (almost like each protagonist is “a prisoner of fate,” as “Igor” described in P5 and it reflects the cyclical nature of evil.
Its nuts to think this is the theme for a Palace's ruler that is so strict towards justice And it fits for the scenery which is a casino Saving this for a Blackjack game with my friends :)))
I think this song represents Joker's mindset in this part of the game. (Spoiler: Sae's Palace) Joker and the Phantom Thieves at this part of the game had successfully infiltrated 5 palaces and stole their hearts. Joker at this point in the game has decent or maybe even max social stats, so he was feeling confident in his achievements, as in Beneath the Mask, you can see how Joker actually perceives himself as a person who has no real identity. The lyrics show how Joker wants to just say YOLO and enjoy his new life as a Phantom Thief. Akechi's betrayal proves this, even though the Phantom Thieves outmanuevered Akechi in the end.
It’s been a while since I’ve just sat and listened to the P5 soundtrack. I was reminded why I fell in love with this game, not just soundtrack, but also the atmosphere this game put me in.
Persona series gave me an experience I'll probably never feel in a video game, or any form of media. If I could only play 1 game for the rest of my life, it would be this game! Or P4G :D
"why don't we spin the wheel, see who it may call" joker: *spins the wheel* who's the traitor wheel: AKECHI joker: ... *squints* crow: *SWEATS* joker: care to explain, buddy...? crow: w...WELL THE GAMES IN THIS CASINO ARE RIGGED, SO, joker: oh right. yeah ok crow: -oh thank god- joker: haha, man. it sure would be a traitorous thing to do though if you killed me, amirite? like, took a gun and shot me? crow: joker, y-you're scaring me-- joker: SURE WOULD, WOULDN'T IT, CROW???? WOULDN'T THAT BE A _TRULY TRAITOROUS_ THING TO DO? crow: *screaming internally* i-it would, joker: ...anyway let's go, lol crow: *dying inside* o-of course... everyone else: ... oracle: and that, folks, is what we call _foreshadowing._ though its like super duper obvious at this point.
New Super Mario Bros. U World Land 3D Sunshine and Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon: Partners in Time Nah, she killed the cognitive version of the band, but the real band was still alive to make a comeback. They pulled an Akira before Akira.
Oh, god, the game is already long enough and I took my time playing it yet I still pissed off of that bullshit puzzle, oh yeah and that okumura's palace's air-lock puzzle as well ffs..

Before I went into this Palace, I heard the song and knew the sin was Envy, so I assumed the Palace ruler (not saying who it is for spoilers' sake) had a distortion that was depicting what they wanted to be. Like, "I want to be free and able to do whatever I want, to just let fate decide what happens, not be constantly bound by society and its expectations". Though I'm not disappointed by what it actually was, and I'm glad they addressed Japan's flawed criminal justice system.
