@@TheDjMoo No, you can see that moment. That's when she grabs his shoulder and he has this look of pain on his face, then marisha goes "where's that dollar?" because she actually committed to paying Liam when she grabbed or hit his arm after the surgery. The weak "ow" part was just in character.
Its funny that you can tell she's so used to having someone on her right (Travis's spot) as thats where Tal was in Campaign 1, so she focuses her movements toward her left aka poor Liam as she didn't have someone there last time and was on the edge.
It's even better because in Campaign 1, Liam had the exact opposite lol. Laura on his left and open air on his right, so this was the perfect setup for personal space shenanigans!
I'm fairly certain it's because of table location. Marisha is looking to her left as that is where the majority of the table is. Liam is in the unenviable position of sitting directly to her left.
We all realise that, with the social distancing seating they've been using, Marisha's only going to get worse, right? Poor Liam and Travis both are gonna get clocked in the chops the first night they're back to normal seating!
She is *the exception* of the rule that women tend to take up less space and gesture more subdue as well as closer to their body. At least since hoopskirts/crinolins fell out of fashion
It's the fact that he's so desensitised that cracks me up XD like most of the time he doesn't even outwardly flinch, he just widens his eyes a little like 👀
@@celticcountrylover And you all picked great pieces of music to put the compilations to! Sometimes I’m in a “Bumblebee” mood, sometimes I’m in a “Mountain King” mood!
CONTEXT At 1:06 Liam had recently gotten surgery on his arm, Marisha realized what she did(hurt his arm real bad by patting the healing wound, you can see him wince as soon as she touches him) and said the words "super loud" ironically quietly out of guilt, then immediately gave him a dollar as they explained what happened to those unaware during the episode. Easily one of my favorite cast moments in CR, but poor Liam, that looked like it hurt- Edit: oh, also a few moments after she pats him, while they continue roleplaying Travis (playfully) grabs Marisha and scoots her away from Liam XD
All these compilations of Marisha hitting or nearly hitting Liam are just old enough to not have the scene where Sam introduces the extended boxing glove pole so that Liam can still get punched on air.
putting the most intensely physical character in the group next to the most introverted self-contained character (when both physically roleplay their characters so well) was always a recipe for disaster. it was a joy to watch for 99 episodes though, before they has to socially distance
I love how on some these Liam just sits there stoically and is like is she gonna hit me this time? Like a terrible game of chicken that he'll never win XD
Do you even know this guy, he is probably the most handsy and cuddly person in the cast, not getting hit does not make up for the loss of that. I have jet to see him seated next to someone he will not cosy up with
i just think it’s so funny how liam gets incredibly still when marisha’s arm get close to him i feel like he’s like well if i don’t move maybe i’ll minimize the possibility of getting hit
I think it was better when Taliesin and Marisha were sitting together in C1 because they would playfully hit and hug each other a lot especially in stressful fights like 102 for example.
I have to be honest. There is basically a VERY similar version of this video from another brilliant RU-vidr. But I watch both. Sometimes I’m in the mood for “Mountain King”, sometimes “Bumblebee”.
You got one of my… I wanna say favorites, but I think that’s the wrong word, cause of Liam’s shoulder, but the clip was the thamauturgy clip. Marisha grabs his shoulder, and he’s just squeezing his eyes. But my new favorite clip is from 64, when she got the HDYWTDT and Liam scoots over to avoid any potential flailing
Both hits shown here were actually when Liam was crossing the midline between them, not Marisa crossing into his space. Also part of this is her gesturing towards the other players who Liam is between.
Is she a lefty? It always seems to be her left hand whirring about into Liam’s face. Or is she just gesticulating in the direction of the players on the other side of the table? (She should probably be seated in a corner spot.)
Liam is glad of only 2 things: 1. Marisha wasn’t sitting next to him at Rumblecusp. 2. Marisha didn’t read his text and hate him for spoilers. The resulting emotions would make her go Tasmanian Devil Twister next to him.
As someone who is prone to gesticulating wildly, i can feel marisha, and feel for Liam. And for everyone like me who needs to be very physical when we talk, I am sorry normal people
liam literally ALWAYS launches a flurry of punches on marisha every time he gets excited or finds something funny, he does it like 5 times every episode and he leans on her after hes done laughing so so much its so funny to me that hes giving marisha the personal bubble talk
would have been more funny if it end with her punching him in the face but that like the first clip you used the music was great but ending had no punch xD
