Sam Riegel ladies and gentlemen ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Taken from Critical Role Campaign 2, Episodes 54 & 55, - "Well Below" & "Duplicity" If you enjoy my videos and think I deserve a coffee cup or two ---} :) ko-fi.com/spec...
I love how Marisha REMEMBERED this because a billion episodes later she reveals Beau's dad is named Thoreau, and commented that that's why she'd said what Sam said was "interesting" lol. Hence why she said "it's interesting you say that" to the "Henry David Thoreauregard" one xD
How was your day? It was So-Seau-regard Did you hurt yourself? Stubbed my Teau-regard What's your favorite toy? Yo-Yeau-regard What's your favorite mountain? Mt. Kilamenja-Reau-regard What's your favorite cat? Cali-Ceau-regard
Nothing can beat Sam's consistency with his Fjord puns. _Early in the campaign_ Fjord: "The name's Fjord. F-J-O-R-D." Starosta, to Fjord: "No last name?" Sam: "Tough." _Very, very later in the campaign_ *Fjord's given last name was revealed to be Stone* Sam: "Wait. . . your name is Stone? That's a _tough_ name."
4:25 "Henry David Thoreauregard" and Marisha replies "Interesting you said that..." because her dad's name! :O Did they already know at this time? What his name was? :O
He did the same with Caleb. Early in the campaign they were trying to come up with fake names they could use as aliases (I forget when and why) and Nott suggested that Caleb could be "Bren". At the time, neither Nott nor Sam knew Caleb's actual name. It was a complete coincidence just like this was. He just has a sixth sense for spoiling backstories by blurting out random names with "no-regard"
@@eightch4610 Henry David Thoreau was an ethics philosopher who studied about unjust states. As you can tell by this video, there were tons of Beauregard puns, and the "Complex Web" is digging deep to the philosopher just for the pun.
Was it during any part of the clips shown in this video? I remember watching it live and when they mentioned that they could hear Dani but I wasn't sure if I could hear her .
I've watched this so many times....it's everything that is great about Sam. His playful ego, his quick wit and creativity and the Loki level mischief. He is the best.
Best part of this fight was when Nott fired the Explosive arrow, forgetting Caduceus was down and killing him Luckily Jester was there to revive him, otherwise Talison would of had to make his third PC for that campaign
The last one is the best because I can feel Sam going, "I can't think of way to work it in to a sentence . . . ah, fuck it. It's too good; I'll just say it anyway."
We need a full compilation of every funny Sam Riegel moment in critical role..there's a lot and its hard to find them again, because sometimes its just a random convo 1 hour and 37 minutes in or something :D
