I consider my story to be the perspective of infinity I don't want it to stop but in this life of mine I love to solve problems as I was listening to you both and I suddenly saw the connections when you both mentioned that do we want to optimize your life ? or have a' problem solving life ? I know that my story will need problem solving for forever or the perspective of infinity .

Follow-up thought: games require stakes (or at least objectives) to be meaningful. How can I optimize my gameplay if I don’t know the criteria for doing so? The definition of those stakes is a narrative-crafting exercise. The phenomenon this podcast takes issue with seems to be people who weaponize narratives for their own advantage (to make money, recruit followers, etc.) i.e. leverage narratives to “win” a meta-game. The proposed solution - assuming more control over the story and optimizing gameplay on an individual level - would be to leverage the interactivity of gameplay to advance your own narrative. There’s often not a clean break between the two structures.

I’ve been a big fan of action role playing video games since I was a kid. I don’t believe that narratives and games are mutually exclusive. If done effectively, games can masterfully tell a compelling story that gives the player autonomy to branch out, explore, and shape the fictional world!

This. People use mbti as a kind of boundary setting and limitation rather than as a map for evolution. They consider that the boundary is static and that it doesn't allow for expansion. Type is far from being static. An example of that are the ambiverted or even individuated types. Type is just a starting configuration. But it's an internal sandbox. You can then from that starting configuration to add or remove, subtract or multiply, build or destroy, construct or deconstruct.
