HEre's an idea. Maybe, do some videos on True Launch Bar. No one knows what that is, I think. You could do "Organizing your Taskbar using TLB", "Converting ICO files for True Launch Bar", etc. Once a few people saw it, then they'd come back to see how to use it. I couldn't find any videos on it.

It only works on windows i.e. the functionality is Operating System specific & your smart TV must be using some diff OS (Mostly Android) So won't work with the TV. I am sorry but these are OS-level differences, Do like the video and subscribe to my channel :) Stay tuned ;)

Hello, I need help here. This tutorial does work, I have done so many folder icon now, and Im using Windows 7 at that time. Now, when I using Windows 10, this tutorial won't work anymore, when I copy my folder to my external hard disk, it revert back to a normal folder look. Please help.

Hi, I follow the steps on my external 2TB HDD and it works on my PC but when I plug it to a smart TV, it won't change anything on the folder icons. Please help!!

kennry p the steps that we used are for windows.(if you observe we have edited desktop.ini which a windows file. the folder configuration are stored here.) so your smart tv won't use this icons. Stay Tuned :) Subscribe ;)

This could be because the folder icons that you are using are small in size! Search for good ones! Second could be that you have not increased the folder size in windows. sandythecoolable I myself downloaded it from Google! I wish i could upload it to my folder icon link but since i haven't made those I can't share them directly, since the credit goes to someone else :) Search them on deviantart website! Well, I am not sure if I can answer this here... :) Legit sources are the official websites of the respective series for example - Hotstar has Mahabharat, Siya ke Ram.. Netflix has many of the series etc (Although you can't download them. You can see them whenever you want!) Do like the video and subscribe to my channel & stay tuned :)

but, that only works for existing icons (like, we only have to download the icon images from the movie sites etc.). what if i wanna make a picture into a folder icon? like, my profile photo here? i've been looking on how to do that and i wonder if you could help me with that.

@fath aish No you cant directly download movie images and put them as your folder icon. You have to make a folder shaped icon using photoshop and then use it. You can make your personalized folder icons too! If you know how to use photoshop then see some tutorials OR you can email me your pic and i will make the folder icon for you (Just the way you want) :) Do like my video and subscribe to my RU-vid channel :)

You can do that easily with FolderChanger. It can help you change your pictures into folder icon easily, just by drag and drop. Just Google for "Folderchanger" and refer to the first search result.

You will need Photoshop skill to make one. I don't know but if I get time will upload a video for same. You can check few YT videos for the same. I am pretty sure there will be loads of such videos. BTW dou know how to use Photoshop? :)

Yes !!! You can put the icon on the folder and the .ico file inside the folder. Then make the torrent file and share it. If someone downloads your torrent then he/she will also be downloading the .ico file and hence his/her folder icon will be personalized :) [Make sure you have followed all the steps, otherwise it won't work]. :) Good luck :) Do share this video with your friends and subscribe to my RU-vid channel :)

Thank you for showing us how to do this. I did not know. I am starting to really like having ICO files when I use True Launch Bar. If you don't have it, it's really cool. And you have to have ICO for folders there. Maybe, make videos on how to create some type of windows file where all ICO's are stored in it, just how the DLL looks for windows files. I wish I could do that.

@@thevirajshelke Viraj, trust me. True Launch Bar is worth the money. I got a license and now plan to get one for my wife. Once, she understand how to use it -- by watching me, then she is hooked. It really helps you organize your toolbar.

BUt, I just wish that I had a tool to quickly zoom PNG to ICO or something like that, then I need to organize all of ICO files into a DLL where I move one file and just keep cramming more ICO in it. Then, I can have a good TrueLaunchBar on every system.

okay Viraj I really need your help. I know thousands others would have asked you the same question . But trust me bro I have been trying to change the folder icon permanently for so long but its not working . I downloded a png file , converted into .ico file, put that file in the folder i want to change the icon of, I changed my folder icon , I went inside the folder and typed desktop.ini, change the things there and saved it. But the moment I copy the folder to my external hard drive it will revert back to normal .What am I doing wrong???? Please help me bro.

@bhbh bhatt I checked this issue! I faced the same issue. The resolution of this is simple. Just change the desktop.ini file inside your external hard disk instead of changing it in your PC. It works! Note:- If you edited the folder icon in PC and copy in pen drive it works fine. If you edit in PC and then copy it in external hard disk it gives issue so use the above method! rushi kumbam you will need to have a understanding of Photoshop! If you are okay with it try searching the RU-vid as to how to make folder icons there are Many tutorials teaching you this thing.
